Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

Immaculately clean, lovely place to stay! We were only staying one night much to my 3 year old wanted to stay forever!!

Beautiful Georgian terrace in the centre of Alnwick. We had a fabulous three night stay and enjoyed the local restaurants and amenities. The house was spotless and very comfy- a home from home. Jenny was a great host and we would definitely stay again.

Paul's place was very clean and smelt fresh when we arrived. It is in a very quiet residential area, but not too far from the centre of Amble. It was a good place to base ourselves to explore the wonderful Northumberland coast. Paul contacted us 24 hours before we arrived with check-in instructions.

Hellen was such a star and her kindness added to the home, welcomine feeling of the house. Ideally located 15 mn from Seaham, in a peaceful streets with two little shops nearby if you need anything… And the house is so well equipped, so comfy. A huge thanks, everything was absolutely perfect!

We had a lovely time at Middle Cottage, everything was as described and we felt very comfortable. Only downside the local pub was shut ! Hardly Dee and Charles fault. Thank you

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Jane was a brilliant & welcoming host and we loved everything about our stay. The cottage has been so thoughtfully & beautifully put together, & I agree with a previous review that the space is even better in real life! Spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you need. The garden was a delight, we spent a long time watching all sorts of birds visit the feeder from the cosy garden room, including a very dandy woodpecker! We visited the coast on the days we visited (loved Alnmouth, Low Newton and Beadnell) and this was a great base camp to come back to. Perfect for dogs too as you can walk around the beautiful estate before heading out for the day. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Jane!

An outstanding location with the best views. Andy and Lyd were really nice and very helpful. The apartment felt homely, comfortable and warm. Ideal to return to after a long hike. Highly recommend. We plan to return.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless, cozy, and even more charming than the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended!” The Tankerville Pub next door had excellent food. Great option, suggest booking ahead to all sit down restaurants, but plenty of local places with wonderful food. Fry-Fry in Wooler our favorite. Very comfortable, clean accommodation. Comfortable beds. Quiet street in town centre. 10-15 minutes walk from train station . Hosts responded to enquiries promptly and were very helpful.

Carla's house is a gorgeous house of dreams... really gorgeous especially if you like period properties like the little geeks we are. We were a little unsure of how it would be staying the the cellar of someone's house especially as we have a very vocal 18 month old but it was really private and didn't feel strange at all. Carla went the extra mile by providing a fridge full of essential food (and a little bottle of Prosecco), had a selection of toys for our little boy and had loads of great local recommendations. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Great location, bonus of having a parking permit provided. Surprisingly quiet given the busy location. Immaculate, well designed space well equipped. Lisa & Steve are good hosts who have added lots of nice welcome touches.

Linda’s place was perfect for our family of 4. Close to transport and supermarket. Linda met us in arrival and was very welcoming. The flat has everything we could need and more. Spotlessly clean and warm. Spacious rooms. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely quiet property with bonus of free parking. Spotlessly clean, cosy and fully equipped. Close to Metro station which made getting round Newcastle hassle free. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars 😊

Neil was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We’re American and always struggle with learning how to turn on the showers and appliances while in Europe. It is very close to the train tracks which we used multiple times during our stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I do feel the location is a bit hidden, but once you know how to get there, it’s easy. His place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
