What an amazing stay! This cozy guest house was absolutely perfect for our time in the Lake District. We particularly appreciated the quiet surroundings and the lovely details that included a very generous and tasty welcome basket. The suite was well appointed with beautiful linens, a hot shower and a very comfortable bed. Alister was very quick to respond to our messages and all of his recommendations were spot on. We especially loved the Buttermere and Ullswater hikes. The only thing we would have changed was to have booked a longer stay. Thanks, Ali, for a fabulous experience!

Our stay at Barco House was wonderful. Louisa was a great host, super friendly and accommodating. She was knowledgable of the area and gave us some good recommendations. The Airbnb was clean, spacious and homely with everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

I only stayed for one night but wish I could have stayed longer. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped property ideally located near the M6, Lake District, Eden Valley and walkable to Penrith town centre. Easy to find and check-in. Would recommend.

Andrew and Charley’s house was a lovely place to stay while we explored the Lakes. They were both very helpful and even lent us a map for the week after we managed to forget ours! The house itself was very well-equipped and serviceable, catering to all our needs while we stayed.
