Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Ninth Ward

this was very ideal for my family. loved everything about this place. Loved the peaceful Backyard. Loved the privacy of each of the bedrooms. I honestly will recommend this Airbnb to friends and I will definitely book it again on my next trip to NOLA. Great job keeping this place very neat. My children and I felt very much at home. All around 10/10! It was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the charm and homely feeling of staying with a local family can’t be beat. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere but it was residential and close to local gems.

Paula’s place was perfect for our trip! The streetcar picks up right outside, it’s walking distance to magazine street, and in a beautiful area. Paula is very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pelican. From this historic house located in a quiet neighborhood, we could walk to the ferry going across the river to downtown and the French quarter. Karen provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing as well as wonderful breakfasts. We opted to take a class at the cooking school that Karen operates (an extra cost, but worth it) and enjoyed learning how to cook classic Cajun and Creole dishes. (Bonus: you get to eat the results!) We highly recommend a stay at Casa Pelican for a true New Orleans experience!

Really clean super nice

Homey spot, has everything you need and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Unit was a little dirty, small stains on the wall and I did see a roach on the side of the mattress, but bathroom was very clean, all the amenities worked well, and the balcony/common areas are certainly worth some of your time.

If you like Frenchman Street and The French Quarter, this is an ideal location! Very comfortable room. Our hosts provided loads of breakfast options. Lots of clean towels. More than met our expectations!

Can’t wait to visit Michelle’s again! The inn was so comfortable and the room met all of our need down to a great ceiling fan and handy shelves in the bathroom. Michelle and Bob went out of their way to MAKE us a tasty, hot vegan breakfast each morning and were so friendly yet so chill. 5 stars all around!

1,000 characters for this review is insufficient. This is a must if visiting Louisiana. Don't just visit the French Quarter: drive a bit and visit the bayou and it's wonderful folk and culture. Rene and Barbara are salt of the Earth people. The attention to everything in this historic interbellum home transports you to a different era with its carefully curated decorations, grand piano, art work, and historicity while boasting modern conveniences such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a posh bathroom. The whole experience is a real treat. Spend time getting to know Rene and Barbara and get to know about the beautiful house and the surrounding area. The backyard is meticulous and ethereal, transporting you to another time and place with its large aged oak tree, sculptures, and paths. A better breakfast you will not find. I am grateful to have been a guest for two nights; it was hard to leave the house and Rene and Barbara. Looking forward to returning to charming Bouverans.

Beautifully restored mansion. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Easy to walk to all things French Quarter and Frenchman St.

Lindsay has an amazing place, well maintained, super clean and friendly vibes all around. We enjoyed our stay there. It is well connected to the public transport. Room, bathroom and kitchen were quite decent. I'd definitely recommend The Okra Inn. ❤️

I can’t say enough great things about the Railyard. Adorable, mid century aesthetic, safe, private and quiet street in a fun neighborhood. Easy parking, walkable to everything, though once you’re checked in you won’t want to leave. The pool/cabana space is well appointed, comfortable and gorgeous. Hosts are welcoming and intentional with all they provide in terms of useful items (snacks, beverages, sunscreen, aloe, etc) and very clear instructions. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Excellent place to stay with kindness, comfort, and thought put into everything from the bedrooms to the communal spaces. I especially appreciated the kindness, flexibility, and promptness of Rachaela when it came to messaging about questions or any requests our group had. If you book a stay here, you’ll be sure to feel comfortable and have a great home base while exploring New Orleans.

Liz was very responsive from the start. I would recommend The Mansion on Royal to anyone visiting New Orleans. The room was great and it was easy to walk into the French Quarter and access other sites. Also appreciated the availability of luggage storage before we checked in and after we checked out.
