Great property, a basic single-family home with a homey vibe in a peaceful countryside setting. Old man's log sauna in the yard, atmospheric where you could get flat and lively steam.

We had a great time in Kare's lovely house. Kare is very friendly and always ready to help us if needed. The house is one of the best I had ever been to on vacation!

Best place to stay we've ever stayed. It is perfectly equipped. The location is absolutely fantastic, you can drive to Rovaniemi in about 15 minutes. Kari was always super accessible and gave very good tips. It is also the perfect location to be able to see the northern lights.

Great accomodation!

The house was spotless and warm with clear instructions. Everything had been thought of and we felt very much at home. It was so close to town and the grandchildren spent so much time sledging in the area which has some great places for sledging. Kristian was very helpful and I can see why he is a super host

Cosy house in a middle of nowhere 🙂 the kids felt right at home, fell in love with the little bedroom upstairs and all the toys. The only drawback perhaps is an amount of personal belongings.

We really liked our stay at Ella’s place, it was clean, had all the necessities, Ella’s communication was quick and helpful. Location was perfect, easily reachable, the ski resort was a few minutes away, also walking paces, cross ski paces, shop, lake, all within few min ride/walk. The whole family enjoyed the vacation and we hope to come here again next year for skiing or in summer for fishing.

Extremely clean and functional spaces. Good level of equipment in every way. The bathroom had soaps, shampoos, and other basic cosmetics products. The host was well in advance about the practicalities, and all communication was very good. The dog was away and there are nice jogging spots nearby. Strongly recommend!

The accommodation is exactly as described. The location is great. There's a lot to do. The airport transfer is cheap and practical. Nearby you can find a small supermarket (very good quality of food). We were able to do a lot on foot, by gondola or by bus. Questions were answered immediately, communication was smooth and friendly. We felt very comfortable! Also, thanks for the many recommendations:)!

We enjoyed staying in Tapio’s place. It’s definitely more suitable for more than 2 people. It’s clean, spacious and a cozy place to take a break from a hotel setting. We enjoyed our sauna and a small walk around the lake on the back. There was a smoke issue with the vintage heater but we didn’t let ruin our stay and Tapio came to check on us when we needed.

Lotta was very helpful and went above and beyond to communicate and ensure we made the most of our stay. Amazing property in a great location.

Very cozy house with everything you need to spend a few days. The house is just the size for a short stay and few people.

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

The place was very comfortably furnished (incl. Sauna & fireplace) and very quietly located in a forest area. Ski trails or a hiking trail are almost at the front door, and it is also not far to the nearest ski slopes (a few minutes by car). It was an all-around great stay, there was nothing missing in the apartment. We could see northern lights from our yard on 2 evenings!

We booked the cabin for a stopover on the way to the North Cape in January. In advance, we were informed that there is underfloor heating, but it can't really heat up the cabin, and there is only one outside toilet. Since this was no problem for us, we still arrived and it was definitely worth it. Equipped with sleeping bags, it was also cuddly and pleasant for 3 people in winter. The view of the frozen lake with sunrise was also worth the overnight stay. Even though I think the cabin is more designed for summer, it is also worth a visit in winter and perfect for an overnight stay

Good and peaceful location. The cottage has plenty of room for two people. The host provided clear instructions on how to do it. Kitchen well-stocked, meals were well prepared. Ski trails left next to me, which was most important to me. It was also a short trip to the ski resort. Great steam in the sauna. Messaging with Sirka was straightforward and quick. Big recommendation for this place.

The stay went well and we were very happy with the mock. The home is in a great location in a quiet environment, yet close to downtown. Leaving was a bit of a problem when the road to the cottage was freezing, and we couldn't get up the road by car. However, we got help in a reasonable amount of time and there wasn't much delay in leaving.

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

We had the most PERFECT week here and were so sad to leave. We felt instantly at home in the warm, cosy cabin. Everything you need is here and more. Enjoying a hot tub under the stars in the tranquility of the forest and then into the sauna is a perfect end to your day. The forest is so peaceful and you can enjoy wonderful walks right from your front door. There were sledges for our children to borrow and to enjoy on the slopes outside the house plus the Suomu ski resort was a short walk away and easy to hire skis here and get a lesson. We enjoyed a husky experience and reindeer feeding at Salla and the Riisitunturi National Park was well worth the hour or so drive. Or just staying at the cabin and relaxing is perfect too. This was our second visit to this cabin and we would so love to return here again one day- it’s truly magical and has been the best holiday for us and our 4 small children. I recommend book it today- you will absolutely LOVE it! This accommodation is perfection.

A clean and well-equipped cottage with stunning Kainuu scenery. Perfectly matched the description, we couldn't figure out any flaws. We're glad we ended up using the hot tub as well, it was nice to warm up during the day and soak in the warm water admiring the full moon. This was still the case in September, filling with lingonberries and blueberries, we collected them as wood berries, and we also cooked many stews of mushrooms. A warm recommendation for dedicated, nature-loving cottagers!

Viola and Pertti are very friendly host, always available in case of need of support or questions. The house is cozy and warm as it has central heating as well as a fire place. It is well equipped with everything necessary. The temperature of the heaters can be regulated. The outside toilet is just next to the house, easily accessible even with - 16 degrees and very hygienic. It's possible tu use the sauna and even to take a shower there. All in all highly recommended hosts and location. Thank you for everything, we will be back! :)
