Vacation rentals with lake access in Northern Finland

The villa was amazing in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood just outside of Rovaniemi. Snowshoeing on the lake & hot tub at night were the highlights, beautiful spot that we would definitely come back to!

Best place to stay we've ever stayed. It is perfectly equipped. The location is absolutely fantastic, you can drive to Rovaniemi in about 15 minutes. Kari was always super accessible and gave very good tips. It is also the perfect location to be able to see the northern lights.

We had an amazing time in Joona’s house. It is a quite and family friendly location. A supermarket is at a walking distance. We had everything we needed. Easy communication with the host. Thanks, Joona, for the hospitality.

We had an absolutely remarkable stay in this house, which largely met all of our expectations. The location is ideal, offering both tranquility and proximity to the main sites of interest, which greatly facilitated our stay. The house itself was impeccably clean, perfectly arranged and tastefully decorated, offering all the comforts necessary for a pleasant stay. Stunning lake view. Miia, the hostess, was of rare availability and attention. His responsiveness and kindness have greatly contributed to making our stay as pleasant as possible. In short, an idyllic setting, a warm welcome, and a perfectly maintained place. We recommend this rental without a second thought and would love to come back again on a future visit. A real no-fault!

The location is just great! We were here in winter and were able to go over the frozen lake. Fantastic! We were there an hour early but were still allowed to check in. The communication went smoothly and we always got a quick response. Unfortunately, we had forgotten something in the house, but it was asked if this should be sent. Thank you for this.

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

An absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful cottage in the middle of the forest! Impeccable cleanliness, very well equipped, hyper cocooning. Calm and change of scenery guaranteed. Sauna and fire 🔥 in the fireplace = cherry on the cake!!

We stayed the entire week at Julius’s place. They live next door and always available if needed. Location is perfect to reach the top places and Rovaniemi center. Peaceful cosy home. Many thanks to our host and hope to see you again 😊

It is a neat, cozy, and lacking accommodation. Especially recommended for travelers who prefer a comfortable bed. Our group was so comfortable without lacking anything. Reasonable price and comfortable and tidy accommodation There is no reason not to choose here. perfect

We had a great time at Nicholas' place. The welcome and instructions were very clear. The apartment was very warm and functional, we felt very good there. The sauna is a real asset that we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend Nicholas and his apartment to discover Rovaniemi and its surroundings.

We would highly recommend staying at this apartment. The building is exceptionally clean and quiet, while the area feels safe. Being right on the sea, the view from the sixth-floor apartment was lovely, even in winter. Plenty of steaming hot water and comfortable beds, there was nothing to dislike, and I am very fussy about where I stay.

Päivi has been a great host!!!☺️☕ He was always quick to respond to our questions and fixed some issues that have arisen along the way. On the other hand, the apartment was perfect for what we were looking for. We were 4 travelers eager to get to know Rovaniemi and their experiences and this apartment has helped us enjoy them leaving the tourist focus. In addition, from the apartment we were able to do cross-country skiing in the tracks of the lake, use the sled and walk to the center. We would definitely repeat it.🥳

We had such a wonderful holiday at Lapland Lights. The house is in a lovely location with everything you need. Svanstein is a beautiful place to stay, the kids didn’t want to leave and neither did us grownups! Blake and Ilke are wonderful hosts and have lots of valuable information about the area. We highly recommend staying at Lapland Lights.

The cottage perfectly met our needs and was in a really good location. The tea rake was a great home base for our family's vacation activities. A big thank you to the host!

The stay with Katja was just fantastic! We stayed there for 3 nights and felt at home from the beginning. Katja welcomed us, there was coffee, tea and homemade at her house where we also met her super nice parents. We booked a dinner with her and a herbal sauna and were just happy to have had these experiences and met Katja and her family. The property is further back on the property private on its own with its own path to the lake with a cabin and fire pit. In the forest and lake you can walk, enjoy nature and just come down. Katja was immediately available for questions. Also highly recommended to go to her insta beforehand for first impressions! The house is amazing and had everything we needed to feel at home. Very cozy and clean, beautiful location and very quite in the middle of nature, close to beautiful national parks and loads to do. We had such a nice stay and highly recommend the place. And Francine is a great host who helped a lot with many nice recommendations.

We spent a family Christmas in a clean and cozy cottage that was in a beautiful and peaceful location within convenient distance of Koli's services. The beach sauna for an additional fee was definitely worth the price. Check-in was easy and we felt welcome, Helena had even left us a tree with decorations and a Christmas chocolate!

Tainas and Taistos lovely little place is an amazing survival experience. We really enjoyed our retreat-like silent and peacefull visit. The cottages are small but if You are two people or even alone if You dare, outside and nature is the thing here. When the entertainment, buzyness, internet and restlessness is taken off your life for a while, You can deeply appriciate the silence and the nature and our origins once more.
