Ski-in/out vacation rentals in Northern Finland

It was a very pleasant stay. The full furniture made you feel right at home. The best thing about the accommodation was definitely the classic Finnish sauna in the basement. In addition, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for every hoby cook. It was extremely quiet the whole time and you had the opportunity to leave all the stress of everyday life behind you. All in all, this accommodation can only be recommended.

The villa is beautifully and restfully decorated and very bright. Spotlights bring a cozy vibe. The beds are very good. We needed blackout curtains. Reflector vests and headlamps can be found in the coat rack. The dishes are well and beautiful. There are all the tools for cooking. Vacationers felt very welcome. It was pleasant to do business with the landlady. There were three generations of us spending a holiday week in this beautiful and cozy log villa.

There were 4 of us and we had a great time at the house. The calm of this small pavilion neighborhood is very appreciated, and the proximity to the river allows you to take beautiful walks. The house is very well heated and the beds are comfortable. The amenities provided are diverse and varied, toboggan, snow scooter, headlamp, everything was there to enjoy!

Great place to stay for a large group. Easy to find, has a carport for two cars. Lots of beds, couches, and most importantly 2.5 bathrooms was a must-have requirement for us. Laundry machines and dishwasher were useful too. Host was nice, accommodating to our 3-4h delayed arrival late night due to airline issues, and fast to communicate.

There were seven of us adults in the Christmas cottage. We had a great time and there was plenty of space. We could also fit in the dining table, and the cottage was well worth the price. Valtteri responded quickly and was very helpful. A small minus that the dishes had to be washed almost all of them again when they were a little stained. There was also no space in the frost, but we did well. The setting was great and the place was easy to find. I can definitely recommend this to everyone!

This is our second stay at Pekka’s place and hopefully not the last. We all absolutely love the house and the location. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay in the great nature. The cabin is the perfect starting point for fishing trips in the rowboat and walks in the area. We visited the Martinselkonen Wilderness Center where there was the opportunity to see bears in nature. Hossa is definitely also worth a visit with beautiful hiking trails. The cabin has everything you need, with a nice new kitchen. Shopping opportunities within 15 minutes drive where there are also several options to charge an electric car. Rami responded quickly to all inquiries and was very helpful. The neighbor who lives a few minutes away can help locally if needs arise - we didn't need anything though, as everything worked super well. We didn't use the sauna, but it looked comfortable.

I had an amazing time at Irma’s place! The apartment was cozy, well-equipped, and made me feel right at home. Irma and her husband’s warm hospitality truly stood out. They made me feel like part of their family. Irma shared her fascinating life stories with me one evening, invited me to join her for a walk with her adorable dog, and she even offered to drive me to my next accommodation. Their kindness and generosity are unmatched. The location is also incredible. Perfect for spotting the magical northern lights! I’m already looking forward to coming back someday. If you’re looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay in Rovaniemi, I can’t recommend Irma’s apartment enough. Thank you both for everything! :)

the house has everything you need and we really felt like home. Very nice interior and perfect kitchen. Everything very clean and of high quality. We saw twice polar lights on the terrace, so what do you need more for a perfect stay? Highly recommended !!

The listing was as described and cozy. The sauna facilities were spacious. We really enjoyed it. The space is fine.

Lovely little simple cottage by the lake. I was bathed in a sauna that heated up quickly and gave strong but soft steam. There is no shower in the cabin. It was clever to take a dip in the cool water from the dock. The lower floor of the bunk bed was spread out as a double bed and very sleepy. Thank you very much, I recommend it to those who want peace and enjoy the sauna.

We loved it. The cabin is incredibly beautiful at the top of the hill of Iso Syöte, there is a snowy landscape with a short walk from where we could see the northern lights every night. You can take beautiful walks in the area. The decor is stylish, cozy and offers everything you need for cooking and living. The sauna with the shower and the view from the bedrooms are phenomenal. We'd love to come back anytime!

Comfortable three nights on a ski vacation. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We enjoyed and relaxed. I love it when the ski left the backyard. It was good to go to Oulanka National Park and winter activities. Peace of mind. The grill house in the yard was nice, even though we didn't have time to test it yet. We'd love to come back again. Lotta was always quick to respond.

Wish we had time to stay longer!

The stay went well and we were very happy with the mock. The home is in a great location in a quiet environment, yet close to downtown. Leaving was a bit of a problem when the road to the cottage was freezing, and we couldn't get up the road by car. However, we got help in a reasonable amount of time and there wasn't much delay in leaving.

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

The cottage was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Beautifully and peacefully located, with all amenities nearby. The only downside was that we had to make our own beds. If you charge a substantial amount per person for towels and bedding on top of the rental price, it’s reasonable to expect the beds to be made upon arrival.

The cottage was even nicer than the photos. Everything was going great. The location was good and the cottage was clean and quiet. The pool table was a nice addition. Communication was very smooth.
