Ski-in/out vacation rentals in Northern Finland

Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

It was a very pleasant stay. The full furniture made you feel right at home. The best thing about the accommodation was definitely the classic Finnish sauna in the basement. In addition, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for every hoby cook. It was extremely quiet the whole time and you had the opportunity to leave all the stress of everyday life behind you. All in all, this accommodation can only be recommended.

We've been lucky enough to have a lot of great Air BnB experiences, but Saija's place has to be the best. The decor and lighting is so cozy and welcoming. And I cannot express the lengths she has gone to to ensure it has everything you need, even down to spare toothbrushes. All instructions were clear, and comprehensive, and for anything else, Saija was very quick to respond with the answer. The location is ideal, in between Rovaniemi centre and Santa Claus Village. And within walking distance to Ounasvaara, which is so beautiful. We brought the sleds from the apartment for the kids, and that was one of the highlights of their trip! Overall, a really great place to stay that we'll have fond memories of forever. Would highly recommend.

Grandmother's house 🥰❤️ That is the feeling I had since stepping in and loved it. It felt very cosy and warm, old furniture but had everything we needed. Great location, I honestly felt sad to leave the place. Hoping to go back again next winter. Great garden for the kids to play in with swings and beautiful sauna. Fireplace was lovely and host very friendly. Unfortunately igloo wasn't up because of the snow level but that is mother nature and it reflects in no way on the host. Also lovely woods and lake close by, we enjoyed sledging the girls there, it takes 5 min. Thanks for everything

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

Typical independent and clean Finnish house in a great location to see the Northern lights. Kind and helpful owners; Markkus welcomed me with a nice sledding night tour. He lives nearby, responds immediately and is always available.

A cozy and cozy militia house with everything you need. The house had plenty of room for a family with children to do both indoors and outdoors. The location was peaceful and within convenient distance of Ukkohalla. We had a great time!

Great rental, small house in the middle of the quiet forest, the host lent us snowshoes to walk in the forest and go to a point 400 meters away to make a campfire. He also heated us the sauna that we were able to use for free. The accommodation is large and has everything you need, I recommend it.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We had a peaceful and pleasant stay in pekka's place. Isolokka villa has all the facilities we need and it was definitely a feel at home. Pekka was super responsive all the time and checkin details, house guides were all very useful. Thanks so much for the hospitality and great support

Very nice accommodation, clean, spacious and bright. It is close to the city center and amenities. The presence of the road near the listing could be inconvenient at night because of the noise and light, but that was no problem for us.

The perfect home to escape the city's bustle. You don't have to go on a trip to nature separately. The paddler is enough for a few days to paddle. Excellent steam.

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Amazing home! Beautiful log cabin decorated with elegant atmospheric design. Very well-equipped kitchen in the cottage. The location is excellent. Great for a family with children.

the house has everything you need and we really felt like home. Very nice interior and perfect kitchen. Everything very clean and of high quality. We saw twice polar lights on the terrace, so what do you need more for a perfect stay? Highly recommended !!

Peaceful location and services within convenient distance. Beautiful surroundings. A really good level of equipment in the kitchen. The sauna is also very good. Antti was always very responsive.

We stayed with two families in Ahmantassu and there was plenty of room for 10 people. We had a great time and had a nice vacation. In Ahmantassu, the setting is in order, a spacious and cozy cottage, we recommend!

Comfortable three nights on a ski vacation. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We enjoyed and relaxed. I love it when the ski left the backyard. It was good to go to Oulanka National Park and winter activities. Peace of mind. The grill house in the yard was nice, even though we didn't have time to test it yet. We'd love to come back again. Lotta was always quick to respond.

We loved it!! It was an incredible stay! The first thing we said to ourselves when we left: we want to go back. The cabin is perfectly equipped and super cosy, the place is beautiful with the view on the lake (on which you can walk when it’s frozen!) and the surrounding forests. Marie is a wonderful host, explaining everything, answering every question you ask, always available!

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.
