We had a great stay at Marjas house! It‘s in the middle of the forest, so beautiful and calm. Marja is such a nice person, she helped us with everything and always responded very quickly. We felt very welcome and at home. We even could use the sauna at the lake and borrowing the snowshoes also was so helpful! We cooked dinner every night, everything worked well with the kitchen and the flat has everything you need. It‘s easy to find and reach by car, from Rovaniemi about 2,5 h. We would come here again anytime and definitely want to return one day! P.S.: If you want to do a tour with a dog sleigh we can recommend Erä Susi, a recommendation from Marja. They treat the dogs very well even if it‘s a big kennel. But make sure you do the 20km trip and that you are not the first sleigh behind the skido, that‘s not so nice because of the fuel right in front of you. But besides that, it was awesome!

Everything was perfect! Very close to the city center, everything is less than a 10 min. walk away. The accommodation is very spacious and very clean. Ksenia is very responsive, we are very happy with our stay!

Very nice stay at Hidi's, close to rovaniemi and the village of Santa Claus, the accommodation is very beautiful, clean. Heidi gave our daughter a gift upon arrival. For children there are games in the accommodation and outdoor sleds. Thank you again!

Well! It was our first trip to Rovaniemi! And the place was pretty close from downtown, around 10 minutes drive. Everything was as described and is a very nice place and cozy, perfect for two persons, we had the chance to cook in the camping van, had ur breakfast there , and the rest. Also the temperature was really nice inside! Is a really perfect place for someone that never ever stayed before in a camping van and wants that experience.

Elina was a lovely, attentive host. Nothing was too much trouble, the ice fishing trip was enjoyable and the food was good too. The accommodation was perfect for what we wanted, lovely and clean and the cooking facilities were great. The accommodation was perfectly situated for seeing the northern lights. A rural area but within driving distance of tourist activities. There was lots of snow and we have had a fantastic experience.

This is a great place with even more amazing hosts. The house was clean and beautiful and very close to ice-breaker shuttle pickup point. Private sauna inside is cherry on the top. The host Timo is an extremely gracious man. He came to pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night and gave us a warm tour of the house. They had also left us a lot of food and a nice souvenir to take home. Loved our stay a lot, and can't recommend this place enough. We still wish we had more time.

A beautiful location, with fantastic hosts!

This was an exceptional stay! We have stayed at many Airbnb’s over the years and this is one of the most unique. The theater is incredible, such a great way to relax after a day of exploring and being outside. The bed is quite comfy, the sauna spacious, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Not to mention how friendly and responsive Jarvi is! He made sure we came outside and didn’t miss the most spectacular Northern Lights that were happening right over the property! You could view them from the jacuzzi, even. If you are thinking of booking this for your Lapland trip base, let this be your sign to do so!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. Our host, Rauna, was incredibly responsive and helpful, offering us a ride on several occasions while also giving us plenty of privacy. The house is located in a very pretty and quiet neighborhood, just a few kilometers outside of the city center. While having a car is the easiest way to get around, the bus stop is very close and the buses, especially on weekdays, run frequently. The house looked exactly like in the pictures, and the sauna was amazing and definitely a highlight – we used it every night. The private entrance and small yard outside were perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

We had a very good time at Sami‘s. Sami has been a wonderful host. Everything was clean, it‘s a really cozy accommodation and we really enjoyed the sauna. We would definitely recommend to stay at this place :)
