Vacation rentals with breakfast in Nozawaonsen, Shimotakai District

It was smooth and flexible from the exchange of messages in advance, and the room and kitchen were stylish, clean, and we had a comfortable stay.Breakfast, such as handmade carrot soup from ingredients, dressing, jam, and rice flour bread made by the neighbors, was packed with not only delicious, but also heartfelt warmth.🫶 Personally, it was a valuable opportunity to become more interested in permaculture, organic vegetables, and fair trade.It was fun to hear Yoko's experience, including Australia, and I heard personally what I was thinking about, and it was nice to come all the way from Saitama! In the summer season, where vegetables and other vegetables are grown in the fields, I can also climb mountains and I look forward to visiting again.☺️🌿

Saiko is a very friendly host. She is so nice and attentive. Location is excellent. We got to Hakuba pretty late and the place being so close to train station was very helpful.

Daniel and Sui were amazing hosts, a sweet couple, who spoke great English, fluent Japanese, and Mandarin. Daniel took us back and forth to Hirata train station in the mornings and evenings. from Hirata station, it's 6 minutes to Matsumoto Station. we couldn't find any lodging near Matsumoto station which is how we found the airbnb. We didn't explore anything near the Airbnb but Daniel did take us by his vegetable gardens. Matsumoto is a great city to explore with delicious food. Sui prepared locally grown organic Fuji apples, Asian pear, and persimmon as well as teas and coffee. They had a fire for us and we felt very comfortable in the shared living room and kitchen. we were able to borrow their refrigerator and both days Sui prepared fruit for us to take. she also taught me more about Japanese culture (we share a Taiwanese background). my daughter was very comfortable with both the hosts and wished to stay longer. I enjoyed meeting them and hope to see them again! thank you!

It was every day that I forgot about the noise of the city in a very beautiful forest.There are a lot of places to go around, but it will be a luxurious time to be in the house.My two toy poodles were initially puzzled by Pyrenees Ku-chan, but were healed by the gentle Ku-chan.Best of all, I was soothing.I don't want to leave.I'm going again!

Really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful location in the forests of Nagano. The host has been fantastic. I highly recommend!

Saiko-san really cares about her guests. she was very welcoming when I needed to make a last minute booking and the room was just what I wanted. Saiko-san provides breakfast for everyone in the morning and obviously takes pride in ensuring that he guests are comfortable and have had a good night's sleep.

The room was clean and spacious, and the washroom was comfortable.During the autumn leaves, it was cold in the mornings and evenings, but the room was warm with heating, so it was good.Thanks also for the recommendations of the neighborhood.

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

A very nice unit for a late season, middle of the week ski trip...very clean and functional with shoji walls making its conversion into a 2 bedroom unit easy. The best thing was the free shuttle service allowing us multiple stops to pick up skis from one place and go to areas with better snow. Its not a bad walk from the bus station and there are several restaurants nearby within easy walking distance...breakfast in the morning is a traditional Japanese one and fantastic with all you can eat cereals, breads, croissants, and coffee, milk and juice. The bar was not open when we were there, but it was still nice to have pool and foosball as evening entertainment. We were not hear during the peak season, but it was a fantastic stay when we were here!

The place was spacious and very clean.The restaurant food was delicious.There was also a pick-up service, which was very good.

Karen and Greg are wonderful! They're very kind, friendly, helpful and insightful about everything to experience in Hakuba. The lodge is incredibly comfortable, peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything one would need. Ski shuttle stop is just a few steps away. We will definitely be back, mainly because of the fantastic hosts! I highly recommend!!

John and Tracey are the definitive standard of AirBnB. They made everything very easy and fun. I could not recommend and stay that is better than this. If you plan to do any winter holidays in Japan, you cannot go wrong with John and Tracey.

Yuu-san welcomed me for the New Years holidays even though I made a reservation in the last moment. He and his family are very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed exploring the traditional New Year's meals and the musical selection every morning :) This artistic home is in a peaceful countryside area and great if you need to disconnect and find your creativity. Thank you for your hospitality!

Leti and Pedro were a highlight of our stay. They made us feel right at home, very lovely and easy to chat too. The lodge is very cosy, has everything you need. The beds were comfy and the tv in the room is a great addition. the drying room for snow gear is great and the free breakfast was always delicious. Their beautiful dog was very cute and friendly! the location of the lodge was perfect. Close to everything and the bus stops. We loved our stay and we will be back:)

Michiko and Miho's place is wonderful. it's essentially a snowboarding hostel run by the family, and has all the charm you could ask for. every breakfast and dinner is prepared, and is AMAZING. everyone gathers in the cafeteria, and after all the guests are fed, the family and staff all eat together. it all feels extremely genuine and unique, especially because it's primarily Japanese guests who stay there. they even provided rental gear, and arranged a ride to nozawa with a resident snowboarding instructor. I'd recommend this stay to anyone looking for a unique and wholesome excursion out of the major cities.

Good location just a few steps from Happo One. Helpful staff and fantastic breakfast every morning. Interior and décor is a bit dated and dingy, though.

We happened to be the first visitors for this snow season. It was a comfy stay with breakfast; 3-min drive to Madarao ski resort; highly recommend
