A lovely one-bedroom, 2 bed house in a beautiful tropical garden setting near the Bay and a mile from Cal. Truly and urban oasis in the middle of the city. We have some of the best weather in the country and create wonderful outdoor spaces to enjoy it. We live next door. Excellent walking neighborhood with easy public transit. Great space for a lovely trip to the Bay Area! Located in a very safe & quiet neighborhood of Alameda. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

We are happy to welcome you to our quiet, spacious studio guest suite! Our guest suite is on the ground level of our split-level mid-century modern home with a private side entrance. The bedroom is spacious and includes a comfortable pillow-top queen bed. The luxury bathroom has a large, glass-enclosed shower with a rain shower head, two vanities, and a walk-in closet. Inside the walk-in closet, we've also curated a coffee & tea station with a mini fridge and a cold/hot water dispenser.

This magical garden retreat is a short hop to the to San Francisco. Three sun filled rooms in a 19th century train station are set above fruit trees and mini meadows with a Japanese style soaking tub for one or two. Step out to the beach, park, nature preserve, restaurants, shops and coffee houses. All within .02 miles. Take the bus or boat to downtown San Francisco (15-25 minutes) Charming on site hosts. Safe walkable neighborhood. Art filled and almost Ikea free.

Our home is 2 blocks from downtown Park Street, where there are dozens of restaurants, bars and shops and a 15 minute walk from the beach for playtime and sunsets. This place is great for solo adventurers, business travelers, couples and small families, too. You may hear the pitter patter of children upstairs from time to time, but never at night. We are a very friendly family and look forward to hosting you!
