The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. My accommodation is close to public transport (3min to the bus) and ski/hiking area. The accommodation is very quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac at around 900 meters above sea level. You will love my accommodation for the tranquility and the environment. In the village center (5min walk) there is also the Walsermuseum and post office, bakery, butcher, ATM, restaurants and a discounter. My accommodation is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and furry friends (smaller pets)

If you are unable to travel for corona incidence reasons, we will refund the full travel price! In our apartment with 45 square meters for 2-3 people, you will find a large living room-bedroom with double bed. Large windows and south-facing balcony offer a magnificent view of the mountains. A lovely, country-style apartment with many historical elements in a refurbished farmhouse. We spent four years, till 2017, lovingly restoring our home and the adjacent apartment, using only the best ecological materials. (eg. wood-fiber insulation, as well as clay plaster on all the inside walls.)
