  • Oyster Love on a Cornish Beach
How often do you get to taste oysters at SOURCE? This invigorating excursion will see us rock up in Rock on Porthilly Beach where we'll dine on oysters Alfresco in clear view of the beautiful oyster farm they come from & the rest of this stunning estuary with plenty of space to keep us safe! You'll be spoilt with copious amounts of pristine Porthilly Oysters, that you will learn to shuck yourself with expert tuition, knowledge of oyster culture and history and taste some amazing flavours of raw and cooked oysters. Situated opposite the famous Harbour of Padstow & surrounded by golden Cornish Beaches it's hard to find a more spectacular setting to enjoy these gorgeous oysters direct from local farmers, on the actual farm! There'll be plenty of shucking and oyster eating and depending on weather we'll fire up & BBQ a few. The set up is pop-up style, to give you an authentic oyster experience on the edge of the Camel Estuary. Come shuck & sip from the pearly cups next to the briney blue with Katy, The Oyster Lady. I'll answer any questions you have & give you an insight in to the oyster world that will be hard to match. As a Superhost on Airbnb with my home in Newquay, I pride myself on my ability to welcome, entertain, feed & host my fellow travellers. See you at the beach. Other things to note This is an invigorating outdoors experience to make you feel close to the vitalising source of oysters & connect you with the hands on immediacy of opening your own. It's the UK, it may rain! :)

  • Throw A Pot In Cornwall
Your experience will be fun and informal yet informative and productive. You're definitely going to throw your own individual pot! We start by familiarising ourselves with the studio, the equipment and tools we will use during your experience. Then it's straight onto the wheel where you learn to centre the clay, and throw a pot. Once we have your pot formed we'll clean it up a bit and lift your creation from the wheel to dry. Then we'll do it again. Why not try another shape? You can throw as many pots as time allows. For an extra payment at the end of your experience you get to choose your favourite piece and when it's bone dry aprox 3 weeks I'll fire it for you in the kiln for 2 days then sand it down, glaze it to be fired again to be packed off to your home (Postage & Packing is included in the small additional cost.) • Beginners’ Surf Experience in Newquay
Arriving at our central base in Newquay, you'll be welcomed by myself or one the team. After an introduction and a quick overview of your activity, it's time to jump into wetsuits and start getting kitted up for your experience. Once everyone is ready, we'll make the short walk to either of the Newquay's famous surfing beaches. We break the lesson down into two parts and explain everything you need to know in stages. Remember you don't need any previous experience and you'll have the support and guidance of your surf coach throughout the lesson. From explaining beach safety, how to manage your surfboard to catching waves, the first part of the lesson is designed to make you feel comfortable in the sea. After a quick break and recap on the beach, we'll cover some tips and techniques on how to 'pop up' and ride a wave back to the shore. The majority of our lessons take place from waist height in the surf so you don't need to be a strong swimmer. Just keen to give it go! Other things to note Please send us a message about our latest availability.

  • Sound Bathing in a Wilderness Tipi
I'm hosting a unique Wellbeing Tipi Temple at a very special location hidden in the cliffs of north Cornwall. Guests can visit the tipi for 1:1, pair or small (under 5) group sessions, which are focused around a meditative, relaxing sound bath and also integrate crystal healing, reiki, and intuitive insights (which use tarot, oracle and astrology to offer soul development and guidance), all shared in the wild. The tipi is located at a very special private venue where there are 45 acres of natural magic to explore after your session - wild waterfalls, opportunities to forage for natural crystals, views out to the Atlantic and mining ruins - as well as plenty of coffee and community to connect with on your visit. **ASTROLOGY** - I usually like to prepare guests' natal charts in advance to help me steer the session. This is optional! If you WOULD like me to do so, please message full names, date, time and place of birth to me at least 48hrs before your session. Please note that this is for insight only and is NOT a full astrological reading. Other things to note: Part of the magic of the experience is being off grid - the site has no electricity and not a lot of phone signal. Please make sure you wear weather appropriate footwear/clothing. Plan for a little integration time after your session - there's plenty of space to relax and reflect before hitting the road.
