Monthly Rentals in Rapaki Bay

What a wonderful little cottage tucked away in a beautiful garden with a great view of the bay. It is nice and private and full of bird song. The trailhead to the Allandale reserve starts just off the road. The place has all you need for a cozy stay and Rosie and Mark could not have been more welcoming. They made me feel right at home and graciously treated me to eggs and vegetables from their chickens and the garden. I would gladly stay here again.

We have stayed at a number of Airbnb’s around the world, but this was one of our top locations of all time. It was comfortable, clean, peaceful, and I can’t even put into words the beauty of the surrounding scenery. We’ve been to the Christchurch area numerous times before and was familiar with the area and its numerous restaurants within a short drive and the many beautiful tracks for walking. We were shocked to find a new, extremely beautiful, area with new, unexplored tracks. Relaxing on the deck and taking in all beautiful scenery is the definition of a relaxing holiday! We wish we would have known about this property the previous visits, but will certainly look to return many times in the future!

We stayed here on our last night in NZ and it was a great spot. The outdoor bath was wonderful to sit and watch the stars above. The amenities are perfect for an overnight getaway, and the space is very private at the back of the property. The view of the harbour was great to wake up to.

Wow, what a place to stay. It was like a time warp back into the 70s. We loved the selection of music, especially the Jazz! Get more Jazz CD's!! and the location was lovely. Granted it was a Red weather warning and rainstorm, but we weathered it out in our cute tiny home. It did get very cold at night, so I would suggest three heaters, instead of two. That's my only criticism, otherwise a lovely place to stay.
