Welcome to Hummingbird House, where you can rest and relax in your own container home in the country. We have designed two containers with your comfort in mind. Whether you want to relax inside the bedroom and listen to our record collection or chill out in the large outdoor tub surrounded by our lush landscaping we will make sure you have everything you need. If you want to wander to Round Top, Lockhart (Best BBQ in TX) Smithville (aka Hope Floats movie) COTA Race track, or a trip into Austin.

Bishop Carriage House

Your own cozy hide away in historic downtown Smithville, Texas. Private parking and balcony that is on local parade route, where you can enjoy the cool evenings. Complete kitchen with, full size frig and stove and all you will need to cook a meal. Great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Queen size bed and a full size sofa pull-out with upgraded mattress. WiFi and work space. Let’s not forget a coffee station. We do allow pets, but there is a pet fee. Please included at reservation.

A peaceful place to come and relax. Our family is moving into our 3rd generation of enjoying this 300-plus acre farm. It offers lots of space and a century old farmhouse for peaceful country nights. Bring your walking shoes to explore as numerous trails are available. We also have three well-stocked tanks for fishing. Separate from the house rental, we also have Syler Hall, a barn that's perfect for events, such as weddings and family celebrations.
