A roommate and I stayed for a month at Ellen's place to attend a training session in Fort Collins. It was so nice to be able to come back to a place that felt comfortable like home when we weren't at training. Ellen was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Bear Necessities is not only beautiful and serene, but it is exceptionally clean (newly renovated maybe?), has outstanding instructions and how-tos, but also has everything you can think of for an easy getaway! Very impressed by the amenities, labels, and highly responsive hosts. This is a fantastic stay for families, couples, or solo travel alike. We really enjoyed the river and sand as a family. Also, super cozy beds, sleeping with the sound of the river is amazing. Internet is fast enough to work and stream movies/games! Stocked with books, games, and all things outdoor fun! Thank you so much for a getaway good for the soul, highly recommend!

Needed a secluded retreat and Aramati and Madeleine’s place didn’t disappoint. Just a short walk to Dowdy Lake made this vacation everything we wanted it to be. It was quiet and we lucked out with the weather - it was absolutely perfect! This place was close enough to the few areas that Red Feather has to offer that getting what we needed when we needed it wasn’t a problem. The cabin was super cute and although the primary bed was smaller than we would have liked, we both slept fantastic. We are already trying to figure out when we can make it back.
