  • In a class of its own, this beautiful and fully equipped spacious cottage lies in a lovely garden setting in the heart of a pretty and well located village. Debbie is a great host and made us feel so welcome, even laying in basic food supplies (and a bottle of wine!) for our arrival. This is hands-down our favourite Airbnb to date!

  • We had a wonderful stay at Kelly’s place for the weekend. Although an annex, the home is very spacious and actually like a house in itself over 2 storeys. It was very clean and decorated nicely throughout. Very spacious rooms and all the amenities you’d need. The pub next door serves delicious meals and no noise due to the car park being in between. We were a family of 4, 2 young kids and the place was perfectly suitable for a family or adults. Loads of things to do in the local area. We visited Sundown Adventureland and Yorkshire wildlife park, both a short distance. We will definitely be back!

  • My partner and I stayed here to visit the Lincoln Christmas market. The Lincoln Park and Ride was around a 25 drive away and the bus got us there in about 10 mins. It's a charming place which is just as cosy as pictured. As pets are allowed to stay I was a little concerned as my partner is allergic, however lots of reviews mentioned how clean the property was and we really wanted to stop here. We weren't disappointed, the place is spotless and my partner didn't have any reactions which just goes to show how much care is taken to clean and maintain the property. Bread, butter, milk, jam, wine and orange juice was kindly provided by the hosts for our use. There was a handy folder with information about the local area, takeaways, instruction manuals, contact details for the hosts and the WiFi password. A word of warning to the tall, my partner and I are 6ft5 and 6ft respectively, if you're of similar heights you will need to duck on the stairs but it didn't bother us as that's typical in cottage style properties. The shower is a little cramped and my partner struggled to manoeuvre himself to shower properly, but it does the job for a short stay. If we were in the area again we would be happy to stop here again.

    Laura2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • A great little cottage and wonderful hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

    Alex2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was a lovely and homely stay. Stephen and his wife were both very welcoming and provided everything we needed. We went for a drink and played pool at the local pub and some lovely walks in the area.

    Esme2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • I would definitely recommend. The hosts responded quickly, communication was great and the cottage was extremely cosy. The log burning fire was perfect for a cold, rainy November evening. We will definitely be visiting again in future.

  • The pictures do not do this beautiful bungalow justice. There were 6 adults, 1 newborn and 2 dogs and we never felt cramped. The kitchen is a lovely space and the lounge felt homely and warm. We had a lovely 3 days over new year and would love to come back again.

  • 4 of us stayed at Kelly's bungalow with our 8 month old baby and dog over Christmas. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed (including the ability to host the family on christmas day).... there was even Christmas decorations and a tree up to make it extra festive which we didn't expect. One of the best features would have to be the kitchen, we spent alot of time as a family, chatting, drinking and cooking in there. The surrounding area is perfectly suited for those that like to go for walks, we took our dog to the river a few times and the area was beautiful. Kelly always responded very quickly to our constant questions pre and during the stay. I would reccomend Kelly's bungalow to anyone in any circimstance whether it's a couple stay, a family, or a group of friends (the added bonus being its theres good facilities for babies and dogs.

    Jason2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend here. It was the perfect space for a girlie get together (we spent a lot of time in the stunning kitchen!) with the lovely town of Bawtry just 5 minutes away.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Misson. The house was easy to find and very clean and tidy. The large kitchen has everything you need and is a great social space to chat whilst having breakfast or cooking a meal etc. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortably slept the four of us! Then lounge is comfortable and has a modern TV which was perfect for us watching the rugby! The house was a 5 minute walk to the local pub and less than 3 miles from Bawtry which was a good place to go out for food and drinks. Kelly was always quick to respond to any questions and the answers were always helpful! If you are looking to stay in the area then I’d recommend this place as it would suit a family, couples or friends equally well!

  • We stayed at Campbell House - 7 adults - and there was room for everyone. The place was spotless and freshly renovated. Location was great for us as we were attending a 2 day event at the Blues Club. Parking is on the street but don't let that put you off as there was enough spaces that all 4 of our cars could park in various places (but all within a few doors of the house) We would all recommend anyone to stay here :)

Excellent location in the heart of Gainsborough town centre. A traditional and friendly pub offering five economy letting rooms at reasonable prices, ideal for an overnight stay or longer-term bookings.
This double ensuite room has two single beds, a TV, sink (within the bedroom) and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a separate toilet and shower room leading off a small reception room / entrance hall. A guest hairdryer, iron/ironing board, and travel cot are all available to use on request.
Gainsborough is a small market town in north-west Lincolnshire, 18 miles from Lincoln. The town is on the River Trent and dates back to medieval times, appearing in the Domesday Book as 'Gainesburg' and one of the capital cities of Mercia during the Anglo-Saxon period. It was also once the most inland port in England, being 55 miles from the North Sea. The Horse & Jockey is ideally located in the town centre, near to Marshall's Yard shopping centre, and all local restaurants and amenities.
  • Stayed here for 1 night, was very nice. Was abit sceptical as its above a pub, however, I didnt hear 1 peep and there was a party downstairs. Stayed in the double bedroom, spacious and everything I needed. Would recommend and stay again if needed.

  • This is a real gem. Sarah and Martyn are fabulous hosts - so friendly and genuine. We were even offered a later than normal check out time - so kind. The Stables was a lovely place to stay, it’s a huge room!! Spacious but with definite kitchen, sitting and dining sections. We needed the extra bed which I was worried about being in the middle of the room but it had its own little area and did not in any way use up any of the main space or be visible from anywhere in the main area. It was also an extremely comfortable bed. The building was wall to wall underfloor heating and apart from kitchen and bathroom, fully carpeted. It’s so snug. Our 2 nights there were extremely happy and we hope to return. Thank you both for being first class hosts. Jacqui and Alice

  • The Stables is a beautiful space in a peaceful rural location, we had a really restful weekend there and didn't want to leave. Sarah and Martin were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn't venture far since it was such a comfortable place to be but it was well connected, short drives to some pretty little towns and some bigger cities in the area. Really comfy bed, spacious bathroom with a great shower, and just a lovely place to be! Thank you.

  • We spent a lovely weekend at Sarah & Martyn’s beautifully converted stables. It’s such a relaxing & cosy place to spend time. We found it was the perfect place to unwind & get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life for the weekend & if I’m completely honest, we didn’t want to leave! It’s ideally situated in a quiet village which isn’t too far from the A1. It also has some lovely little towns & villages in the vicinity which are only a short drive away & have plenty of choices to enjoy food & drink. We visited Tickhill during our stay, a lovely historic little village that consisted of a wine bar, a couple of traditional pubs, an Italians - which was surprisingly very reasonably priced, a Coffee shop or two, a butchers, along with a few other quirky little shops & businesses. Sarah & Martyn were excellent hosts, very pleasant, helpful & genuinely welcoming!! I was pleasantly surprised at the fact the kitchen was stocked with various items such as olive oil, coffee, flour, sugar, Ice & many more essentials.....(one of which you’re bound to forget to pack.) Thanks again for a lovely weekend, We look forward to visiting again in the future. Chris & Steph

  • Amazing hospitality! We felt so at home and welcome in Sarah and Martyn´s stables. It was very clean and comfortable and very beautiful with a nice view of their stunning garden. Communication with our hosts was great. A problem with the power was fixed immediately. The surroundings were amazing, ideal for trekking/walking. Would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting the area. We stayed for 4 days but would have liked to stay much longer.....hope to be back some day.

  • Sarah and Martyn were great hosts who made sure we got settled in and we knew where local things were. The home made bread and marmalade were lovely. If we return to this area we will be sure to try and stop here. Beautiful garden and a nice walk up the lane which loops down and passes a local pub
