What a lovely place. We went on a great walk down the beach and up to Laytown, then back through the woods. Debbie and Tom and the two daughters that we met were really good hosts. We felt well taken care of and also free to have space and feel at home. Highly recommended!!!!!

Lovely stay in a quiet family home. Large room had everything I needed and Tom and Debbie left some fresh brown bread in the room which was delicious! Would highly recommend staying here.

We had to find a place last minute to stay before we left Dublin, and Tom & Debbie's place was perfect! Completely surpassed our expectations & Debbie was so friendly! Loaned us a hair dryer when ours went dead! Super recommend! Good communication as well, and gorgeous windows in our room!

Tom & Debbie’s set of 3 self-contained room with kitchenettes are brilliant value. Spacious, clean and finished to a high standard they also come with all the little necessities you need for an extremely comfortable stay. The three studios share a very large beautiful bathroom with bath and separate shower fully stocked with all necessities. Communication with Debbie was excellent, including comprehensive directions that made it so easy to find. We were checked in and found lots of thoughtful touches such as fresh free range eggs, bread and a well-stocked mini fridge. Not to mention a French press with a supply of real coffee, a personal favourite of ours. During our stay Debbie and her family afforded us as much or as little interaction as needed but it has to be said they really couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Their place is very close to Dublin which gave a great balance between city attractions and rural Ireland also making it the perfect location for travelers looking to get a fuller Irish experience. We couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Cathy's house is in the quaint town of Balbriggan. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the city and from a beautiful beach. We stayed during St. Patrick's Day weekend and could easily take a train from Balbriggan to Dublin, which was about an hour train ride. Cathy was very welcoming when we first came, even though we came later than expected (we were in a small bus crash). She welcomed us with tea and cake and told us about her life and the surrounding areas. The room was nice, with a plush bed and a private bathroom. The shower water pressure was low, but overall the bathroom was nice. Cathy has two cats, which were very friendly and loving (we love cats so we were very excited). Our one complaint is that we were woken up fairly early in the morning (7 a.m.) by noise and music. We we're out somewhat late the night before and would have enjoyed getting a few more hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in balbriggan, ein süßer kleiner küstenort mit kleinem strand und gemütlichem pub. Da wir auf der Durchreise waren, war unser Aufenthalt allerdings sehr kurz. Cathy hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen obwohl wir zu früh waren und uns direkt etwas zu trinken angeboten. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber hat für uns vollkommen ausgereicht, sogar mit eigenem Bad. Die Kritik mit dem niedrigen Wasserdruck müssen wir leider bestätigen ;) aber trotzdem würden wir jederzeit wieder bei cathy übernachten

It was a delight to arrive in winter with a roaring fire going in the apartment!

Lovely place, lizanne and her husband were great and even showed us a tour of the castle before check out!

OK a very small room but the issues are:- a door that doesn't close (a pair of socks provided to Jan against TW door and the frame to stop it opening...yes REALLY. Plaster off the walls with skirting missing, a dangerous wall socket almost fitted! No hot water in the morning. Disasterous! Not going back!

Teresa's home is beautiful and Laytown is a charming coastal village with beautiful walks and friendly people. It's also close to the rail station making it very easy to visit Dublin and Belfast. Teresa is very kind and enjoyable to talk with.

Had a most enjoyable stay here. Nice big room and bathroom -- and great breakfast as well. Teresa was a wonderful host. Pleasant beach town and convenient for exploring other nearby towns and for popping up to Drogheda too.

Location is fabulous, so close to beach and if you are travelling by train then station is just a few minutes walk away. Everything that we needed was supplied and Teresa was so kind, helpful and informative. We had great few days and hope to visit again. Thank you for making our first Airbnb experience such a positive one. X

Teresa's place was perfect for us. We stayed here before leaving from Dublin airport the next morning. I wish we could have had 2 nights so we could have spent the day relaxing in the local area. There are a few small village very close together that could have been fun to explore. Our dive to the airport was seamless! Teresa left a lovely continental breakfast for us that was more than needed and very appreciated. The room is lovely with large en-suite, TV, sofa and space to spread out to repack for airline travel. Teresa and family were very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend Teresa's place to anyone in the area.

We had a really nice long weekend at Teresa's place in Laytown. Her house is literally a minute from the train station so it was easy to navigate there. The house is nice, clean and the room tidy and cozy. We spent most of the time outside, walking on the beach for miles just enjoying the silence and nature and relaxing. Teresa was a great host, very approachable, welcoming, offering advice where to go for our walks, etc. Jj the dog is a sweetheart too. Thank you, Teresa and we will be back.

Great place to stay while visiting this part of Ireland. The room was clean and it's comfortable and spacious. It was a pleasure to meet so kind person as Teresa.

Teresa has a beautiful modern home; the room we were staying in was huge with a massive ensuite and also came with a sofa and large flat screen TV. Teresa and her family are so nice and helpful it made our stay and JJ the family dog is a dote also. Teresa provided a tasty variety of options for breakfast also. Laytown is actually quite beautiful with great walks and lovely beaches but not is a small town and not much else going on. The perfect spot for a relaxing weekend and a stone throw from Dublin. We had a great time here and can’t recommend Teresa’s place high enough.

Carl-Ann was a very friendly and we were very welcomed guest. She was very helpful and responded immediately to our various contacts made. The room was clean, functional and well equipped (given its size), with a small fridge (very useful) and some small provisions for breakfast. By cons, as it has no chairs (no room), we had breakfast in bed or sitting down. Let's say it's more to stave off hunger and it's probably better to go for a true Irish breakfast comfortably sitting in a restaurant in the village. Another thing you should know: the boiler being apparently small enough hot water for one person and water takes about an hour and a half to become hot. So if you are several to shower, be economical with hot water! (Unless you like to shower with cold water - we must believe that there are people who like that ...) (By cons it may be that the problem was related to supporting boiler which, by Carol-Ann, was out that day. But again, Carol-Ann responded immediately to our contact and was sorry not to be able to intervene on the spot, because it was absent from morning. She even offered us a partial refund (we have however denied). Near the house a 3-minute walk, there is a good restaurant and a small supermarket. The small town is very friendly, quiet, at the seaside, with a large beautiful beach. Carol-Ann thank you for your warm welcome, your availability! We felt us very well sum you and would love to return one day!

Carol was out when we came, but we were extremely well taken care of. She left a note, lots of food for breakfast, bathroom toiletries, and even USB chargers, which came in handy (since we only had a single electrical adapter that worked with power outlets in Ireland). It was a very pleasant experience, and it was nice being in walking distance to the beach.

Carol-Ann is a very nice lady. Near the hous there are some pubs, and shop, beautiful view to the sea. Very light and clean place. Very good brekfast and soft bed. Thanks a lot!

great accommodation. brilliant communication from Carol-Anne before our arrival and a lovely welcome note when we arrived. We were also left snacks and toys for the kids which was so nice! We didn't meet Carol-Anne but were made to feel very welcome. would hghly recommend and will be back again for sure!

However he responded to my booking enquiry within minutes & communicated with such clarity, courtesy & friendliness that the booking was completed smoothly & without delay. Absolutely to be repeated. Denise was a wonderful host, greeted us in her lovely apartment and made us feel at home, reserving much attention and giving us lots of advice about places to visit and eat great food. The apartment has all the amenities to enjoy a peaceful holiday near a beautiful beach and a very quiet area.
