Mark is a great host. Very flexible, and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is unbeatable if you're working at the refinery because it's literally across the street. If you're a contractor and looking for a cheap, clean and quiet place to stay, this is the perfect spot

Mark is an awesome host. Ecspecially for visting engineers to phillips/chevron plants. House is really clean and rooms are large. Wifi works just fine in this semi rural area of Texas. Also it is very quiet 24/7 in the house. Mark also knows where the good food/beers are in houston and surrounding areas.When I come back I will be staying here again.

Decent price & has everything you need on any given stay. Full size fridge, stove top, hot water, cable, a space to rest. Quiet little place with onsite laundry . Office staff are pleasant & helpful. Would stay again if ever working in the area... minutes from Phillips sweeny refinery

Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was clean and quiet. I stayed with my wife and two fur babies who insist on sleeping in the bed so I wish the bed was bigger. Other than that our stay was great.

It was a nice and quiet place to stay! Thomas and his son are very polite and quick to fix any problems that may arise!

Marks place is amazing. He will check on you but let you have your own space. I would recommend his place to anyone especially if you are working at the refineries.

Next time you decide to explore the TX Gulf Coast try booking a stay with Cassandra in her lovely Lake Jackson home. Lake Jackson is a surprisingly beautiful community close to the beaches, but in a more secure, comfortable and convenient environment. All around better lodging at a lower price than the beach motels. Excellent hospitality, too! Everything you need is already there.

Cassandra and Antonio and their two puppies were very friendly hosts! I enjoyed my short stay here very much.

Cassandra and her husband were pleasant and helpful. Both were willing to accommodate our check-in time by messaging back and forth prior to arrival. Cute dogs, yummy coffee, and a great fan in the Frida room!

These guys were great! Room was very comfortable and I felt right at home. Very laid back and accommodating couple, helped direct me around town, and had no problem with me moving some things around to set up my office! And the towels smelled so good, I mean exceptionally well.

Cassandra and Antonio's home is comfortable and clean. The guest room is as described and photographed. It is delightfully decorated with inspiration drawn from the brilliant Modern Master artist Frida Kahlo. The bed was comfortable, linens fresh, and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. The bathroom was well-stocked and thoughtfully decorated. Cassandra and Antonio are warm and friendly young professionals who made every effort to ensure my stay was pleasant. The highlight was being greeted by their adorable dogs, who were well-mannered yet more than willing to accept a few hugs! For those adventurous types who are willing to utilize Airbnb's "private room" option, this is the place for you!

I would definitely recommend this lovely place. Room and bathroom are clean and cozy. We received the warmest welcome from Cassandra ,Antonio and the two lovely puppies . We really enjoyed our stay. Well I had a great experience staying with Cassandra and Antonio as they were extremely welcoming and great people. Comfortable bed and private restroom and safe neighborhood.

I actually stayed with Cassandra and her husband Antonio for 2 and half months in Lake Jackson for an internship over the summer. They are very sweet and honest people and very easy to get along with. The room and bathroom I rented from them was always clean and in good condition, any problems that I had I told them and they took care of it immediately. The area itself is very quiet and with a few hotspots to hangout and enjoy company with friends. In my likely return to Lake Jackson, I will stay with Cassandra and Antonio again because I enjoyed my 2.5 month stay so much. I came to Lake Jackson not knowing anybody, but left with two life long friends. Also, they have two very friendly dogs who are extremely sweet. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Catherine's place during the OTC in Houston, it was a bit of a drive but worth it. After we spent the days setting up and at the show it was very nice to be in a place that was so quiet and comfortable. It would be a great place for an executive retreat where you just need to get away from everything and concentrate on business without interruption. Way better than any of the hotels along the 610. There is no food in the area so you need to plan for that and Catherine will help in that regard she picked up groceries for us every day and just gave us the bills. There was 4 of us with 3 guys from India who were vegetarians, Catherine went hunting around for vegetarian food and even had a friend make us some vegetarian lasagna and she made us a salad, the meal was very good. It was nice sitting on the veranda doing my e mails drinking lemonade watching little lizards go after bugs, birds and critters all over the place instead of some stinking utilitarian “business class” more like “no class” hotel. Its clean, well maintained and in a very peaceful setting. One room has the AC intake and the furnace in it that can be noisy but manageable, we turned the temperature for the AC up a little. You may have to push some cattle out of the way when leaving we had one young cow actually playing with us, the guys from India thought it was priceless, I thought the cow was mental. Good for a laugh.

Absolutely beautiful house in a scenic and serene setting. Catherine went above & beyond accommodating us. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived to find a fresh baked loaf of DELICIOUS banana bread. The house is charming and completely equipped with anything you would have in your own home. The pantry was even stocked with essentials that were helpful when cooking our meals. (It's tough to remember everything you might need) The property it's on is expansive and relaxing. It was nice to just sit outside and watch the cattle or take a stroll around the catfish pond. There was even a nice BBQ with coals and fluid for us to grill out one night! I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to rest and relax in peace. Brazos Bend State park is only about 10 minutes up the road and makes for a fun day as well. Thank you Catherine.. Hope to be back to visit soon!

Miss Catherine and little Diego Rivera took excellent care of me while visiting family in the area. This includes meeting me on the main road to guide me into the farm upon my nighttime arrival and leaving me a delicious loaf of freshly baked banana bread. The home is well kept and very quiet. I enjoyed seeing the livestock as I came and went. I would stay here again. Thank you Miss Catherine!

Big house, lots of history. Nice pond for fishing and lots of places to ait outside to enjoy the land and roaming cattle. Would rent this place again!

Everything at Catherine's was perfect and well organized. It felt like coming to a good hotel. The surroundings were very relaxing. If your going to see Houston it might be a bit far. But if you want to relax or, like us, have to work in the neighborhood it a perfect location. We will come back for sure if Cathy let's us.
