Laura is incredibly helpful. She's constantly available, and is very clear with her instructions. She has a beautiful home. This stay was worth more than what I payed. Next time I'm in the area I know where I'm going to stay!

The house is spacious and have nice pool and big backyard. This is very very nice area, where we could see deers around the house everyday and is very close to the lake. Laura and Mike are very nice people and we feel like family now. We will definitely come back!

This is an amazing house and property that lives up to the photos and description. We had an incredible family getaway. We cooked together, played in the beautiful pool, relaxed in the shade of the big trees in the backyard and spotted all kinds of animals on the grounds. Would happily stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a luxury home in the country. Deborah was super communicative and easy to work with.

This is an amazing property! We comfortably slept 13 people and hosted two family events (~40 people for each) over the long weekend. Pool is great for everyone & the back deck is unbelievable. The views are gorgeous, the seating areas plentiful, and the host, Jacqueline provided lots of floatees & towels for all to use. We grilled two evenings & were able to grill & serve all the folks at the same time--lots of room on that grill! The kitchen is made for family cooking. Four of us worked in the kitchen & we all had plenty of room. Great oven/stove and plenty of room in the two full-size fridges on the property. All bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. Plenty of restrooms, including an exterior one for the pool. As you can see in the pics, the entire property is upscale, clean and fabulous!! Special note--Jacqueline is the best! She met us at the door, gave us a full house tour & was able to help us out when we needed anything or couldn't quite figure something out. She's gracious & thoughtful--had fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and local-made zucchini bread waiting for us. We will be back...already taking about the next family reunion. Thank you VERY much for a beautiful & memorable weekend, Jacqueline!

The houses beauty was second to the hospitality that Jacqueline showed us! Leading up to the stay she communicated expectations of the house, what we needed to bring, made recommendations on things we should do, and offered to help in every way to plan our trip. When we got to the house she gave us the tour, the rules, and even gave us a welcoming gift! Not only was Jacqueline an amazing host, the house exceeded our expectations in every way. From the stellar view from the pool to the gourmet kitchen inside the property was breathtaking. My friends and I will definitely stay at JR's Ranch again because we had a blast! Our daughter Tiffany was married at the Brooks and Weatherford. We go to Jacqueline's beautiful home that was only 10 minutes away from the Brooks Wedding venue. Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was! JR's Place was everything we hoped it would be and more. The view from both the front and back porches was both private and spectacular. 18 of our family, friends and a few bridesmaids enjoyed lounging by the pool, cooking in the gourmet kitchen, and sleeping in the most comfortable bed ever. Jacqueline went out of her way to send us lists of restaurants, grocery stores and specialty stores both near the house and in Fort Worth. She also was gracious to loan many of her own decorations, in preparation for a wedding brunch we hosted for all of our out of town guests the day after my daughter's wedding. I can't possibly imagine staying in a more perfect home--with a more caring and thoughtful host. We are already planning a family reunion for next spring! To start off, Jacqueline was very easy to deal with and made our vacation very relaxing and comforting. We enjoyed this home immensely and would definitely come back in summer where we can use their resort style outdoors effectively. One of the best feature I liked outside was the steam room with shower!!!!!!!!! Gracious, thoughtful, helpful, intuitive, giving, resourceful - I cannot think of enough words to describe Jacqueline. We chose to host the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding at JR's Vacation Home - It was MORE than PERFECT. From the time we booked the location to the moment the event started Jacqueline was assisting us with setup, decorations - offering some of the beautiful pieces she had - making sure EVERYTHING was PERFECT. Kirk was incredible - when the law service did not show up he personally spent 4 plus hours making sure the lawn was beautiful! The house itself is beyond incredible - The groom, groomsmen, and out of town family stayed at the house - it was about 10 minutes from the beautiful Stillwater Meadows Wedding venue in Aledo. After the rehearsal dinner all the wedding party was able to play games and visit - the day of the wedding all the guys had a place for breakfast and lunch - I cannot think of ONE thing that would of made the weekend more perfect!! Best vacation rental house experience ever! Why rent a cramped hotel room when you can rent your own private resort? This house had everything: privacy, a pool better than any hotel pool, huge outdoor grill, a smoker (that we used to smoke a brisket and some pork shoulder), plenty of room for our party of 14, and one amazing hostess. Jacqueline made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish and even surprised us with a few treats during our stay. My favorite was when she brought over some Moscow Mules. Both the kids and adults loved spending most of our time in the pool and going down the two story slide. But the indoor space is just as good as the backyard paradise and its perfectly set up for multiple families or couples. Every one of the 4 couples had their own private bedroom and the kids loved having their own two rooms that we designated the kid zone. They had their own wing of the house complete with large screen TV and enough beds to sleep 6 of them. The kids said they can't wait to come back to "The Mansion" as they call it :) They wanted to stay so badly that they left a ton of stuff there in hopes that we'd have to go back and Jacqueline was nice enough to find it and mail it back to us. Trust me, its easy to lose stuff in this huge house. Thank you Jacqueline for sharing your home with us and being such a wonderful hostess!! We're looking forward to a return trip(URL HIDDEN)

It was a lovely retreat to get away and have some solitude to work on some bigger work projects that had been looming. Everything was clean and welcoming. I enjoyed the two patio areas to get outside and enjoy coffee and listen to nature.

The Bunkhouse was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway! My friend and I had a wonderful time there and would love to go back someday.

We loved the Bunkhouse! It is just the right size, with just the right amenities and in the perfect, peaceful country setting. The Morris' take extra care to ensure all of this. We especially appreciate being able to bring our pups! We can't wait to stay again!!

Fantastic space. The photos really do not do it justice. We had a wonderful time and really wish we'd arrived sooner to enjoy the place more. I honestly would recommend better photos, because the strengths of the bunkhouse are really not shown in the current pics. We had a great place to park, lots of room, lots of comfy chairs and sofa, pool table and lots of great art and books everywhere. Our privacy was respected and it was so quiet and peaceful. We would return in a minute, and I'm even suggesting the place to my Aunt and Uncle who visit my parents in nearby Weatherford occasionally and usually stays in a hotel. I think they'd enjoy this much more!!

My wife and I were looking for an affordable place to spend our six year anniversary and came across the "Bunkhouse". We were blown away by the look of the place, better than expected. We urge people to come and check this place out. We will be back ASAP!

We had a lovely stay at the Bunkhouse. A charming cottage, with comfortable and homey appointments. Everything was fresh, and Cathy had several nice appointments that went beyond what was detailed in the listing. I'd be happy to return, and since I have family in the area, I'm sure I will!

My husband and I just spent a few great days and the Bunkhouse. Its in a very nice countryside setting. The Bunkhouse is surrounded by trees and greenery and has a great view out back. There is also a covered parking pad next to it. The owner's residence is next to the Bunkhouse, but there is ample privacy. The place is comfortable and clean and has everything you need for a few days stay. The living area is a large great room with a large, comfortable sofa and two comfortable easy chairs that swivel and recline. There is a large TV that gets all the Dish channels. There is also a very nice pool table next to the living area that we enjoyed. There is also a small kitchen area that has a microwave and a hotplate, which are perfect for making breakfast or reheating leftovers from a dinner out. There is also a small refrigerator. While cell phone reception was spotty, there is WiFi so that was not a problem. The Bunkhouse is well stocked with all the essentials. While the Bunkhouse has a very secluded feel to it, shopping and major retail stores are just a short drive away, and it has quick access to the highway. The Bunkhouse is great for anyone who needs a place to stay near Forth Worth (about 20 miles away), and desires a relaxing setting.

This is "THE" place to stay when visiting Weatherford. This house was great for our girlfriend weekend. This home is beautiful, cozy, comfortable. The personal touches were amazing. This house is absolutely PERFECT for any large getaway. A group of friends and I rented it out for the 4th of July and had an absolute blast; however, the home is spacious and wonderful enough to accommodate groups of any sort, from groups of families to wedding parties, to any other wonderful weekend getaway. Jamie was prompt, courteous, and extremely receptive to all of our questions and communication. Truly an amazing weekend at an amazing place.

What a wonderful and relaxing location! Juretta has created a tastefully and comfortable two bedroom bath and a half get away close to Weatherford, TX. Clean! Convenient to Weatherford and Fort Worth. Easy access to a chiminea and a fire pit, with wood and starter provided! A perfect place for our honeymoon!

Juretta was very welcoming . The cottage is amazing and pictures do not do it justice. LOVED our stay there. We were competing at a horse show in Weatherford and it was close by to venue. It was wonderful to come back to such a peaceful place.

This is a great location if you want to be out of the city life. The peace and quiet was great, able to watch wildlife in the morning while having coffee is a plus. I would stay there again on my trip to the area. There is plenty of room inside and out. A good place to relax.

The home was perfect. Beautifully decorated and super clean. It was cute, inviting and the space was perfect for the family time we needed. Fantastic walk in huge shower. It was so great to have seclusion and be outside in the morning with the rabbit, blue birds and red cardinals. We had use of the pool on Saturday and it was lovely. The pictures did not do it justice. They had a wonderful sitting area by the pool with deck and cover and ceiling fan, and comfy outdoor couches. Juretta and John made us feel like we were family visiting in their home. I cannot say enough about this spot.. We will return, and thank you for a beautiful weekend.

As some of the other reviews mentioned, the pictures don't do justice to this lovely, clean, and tastefully decorated cottage in a remote, peaceful setting. The stars at night were beautiful! We enjoyed long walks on the trails surrounding the property. This is a perfect place for a getaway. It is clear that Juretta and her family have cherished this place, and we feel lucky to have been able to cherish it as well. We will definitely return if we get the chance and highly recommend this place to others.

Highly recomend, though two issues may be a problem for (URL HIDDEN) internet, which is an issue (and not sure whether listing specifies or not---I missed this, if it does)---and showers must be brief, to avoid running out of hot water.

This is an immaculate location. Family friendly, quiet, clean, and private. The host ensure you are well accommodated over and beyond the presubscribed standards. Even if it means driving an extra 30-40 minutes to stay here over another location, I'd advice you do so. You would think the word customer service was made simply to exemplify the actions of this host. I am definitely bring my family back.

This is a lovely cozy get away for either a single person or one with a small family! This was my first time using this kind of lodging service and because my first experience was such a great one I would be more apt to use it again for any future trips I may take and need lodging. Wendy was so helpful and made sure I was well informed of any and everything that may have crossed my mind PRIOR to my stay. The neighborhood was safe, clean and quiet! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!!!

My wife and I had a great time staying at the Cozy Villa. It was clean and very well organized, yet it still felt like home. This was the best part. The care that Wendy and Brian put into making sure our stay was pleasant was so appreciated. They checked in with us via text, and in person, without being intrusive; and they even went so far as to have a few things pre-stocked in the kitchen just in case we were too tired from our trip to go to the store before checking in. Beautiful old home. Great location, about .1 miles away from a laid back bar. The hosts are very accommodating and make you feel welcome. The room setup is a bit out of the ordinary, 2 beds in 1 room, but you cannot see one bed from another. It worked great for me and my friend.

Rena's place is the best place to stay in Weatherford or Fort Worth for that matter. The location is fantastic and the hosts are so welcoming. Everything about the room was fantastic from the newly updated/private bathroom to the in room AC unit (which you'll need in Texas summers). I've stayed in many Airbnbs and this one is at the top of my list. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a place to stay in Weatherford!

The Yellow House was a perfect place to stay in Weatherford. It was an easy walk to the square, restaurants, and the farmer's market. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Peach Festival and come back and relax in the comfort the home. The room was perfectly set up for me, my mother-in-law and teenage daughter. It was great space for us to relax and enjoy a nice weekend away from home. We all enjoyed it very much. Rena is a very attentive host and was gracious in accommodating our needs. I would definitely recommend staying at the Yellow House.

The Rose Garden Cottage is so special. A great place for a girls weekend or just a stop over on the way through. I was so impressed with the beauty of this cottage. The beds are so comfy and the yard is great for the fur babies. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping and super close to town square.

What a charming home. Lee Ann is an exceptional host. She was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here a few weeks ago and decided to stay again. She was super sweet to me and my dogs and lots of places say they are dog friendly, but they are actually dog tolerant. That is really important to me traveling with my dogs that I feel like we are all welcome and not two pages of rules of don'ts! Her place is within walking distance of historic square in Weatherford and the kitchen is very well equipped. She even had a garlic press, and Pampered Chef pans. So if you want to prepare some meals she has everything you need. Highly recommend her place!

So this was an unplanned stop on our road trip to south Texas with my two labradoodles. We were all tired of spending so much time in the car and decided to break up the trip with a stop in Weatherford. Well we are so happy we did and I hope to go back sometime and spend a couple of days. It is so hard to find a place that is truly dog friendly. She has a huge well kept backyard which they absolutely loved. And the house was just perfect too. Beds were like a heavenly bed by Westin and towels white and fluffy. House was immaculate and everything you could possibly need to REALLY cook if you wanted to. Fridge was stocked with sodas, and she had some snacks too. Also had a 5 gallon water cooler which I loved because I hate plastic bottles :) There was also a Jacuzzi tub which my friend took advantage of after our long day a sitting in the car. It is only a few blocks from historic downtown with lots of antique stores and the other direction is a park with nice walking trails. I definitely would recommend and I hope to go back sometime soon! Lee Ann is the perfect host

The Rose Garden Cottage was a lovely getaway. From the linens to the antiques, everything was of the highest quality. We enjoyed a relaxing, delicious breakfast at the end of our stay. There was nothing we could have needed that wasn't anticipated and provided.

Very nice house. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. We had two small dogs and the back yard was great for them (we didn't allow them out alone). I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at kaitlin's house. Although we didn't get to met kaitlin as she was out of town, she was always reachable to answer any of our questions quickly, also her husband was home so he was helpful with any questions we had too, and good for a chat! They have an amazing dog too, that's huge!! But so so friendly! Their house is beautiful and very well kept. The bed is comfy. The area is safe and quiet. Stay here if you are in Fort Worth, you won't regret it.

My experience was great! Kaitlin worked out with me ways to get into the house at 2:30am because my flight was delayed from NYC due to weather. The room was super clean, let alone the entire house. Also, I met Ace, her dog, which is adorable and super friendly. I recommend Kaitlin's place to anyone visiting Ft. Worth. And yes, that basket with treats inside the room is a life saver when you are craving a little sweet bite at 3am.

Kaitlin was a great host. She made sure that I had everything I needed and that I felt at home. Her lovely dog, Ace, greeted me at the door since she was unable to meet me there. Loved our three night stay. Kaitlin changed her dinner plans to be at home when we arrived, and she was warm and hospitable throughout my stay. Her house is beautifully designed and extremely clean, and the room is spacious and inviting with a super comfortable bed and lots of closet space, in addition to a private bathroom. Kaitlin even had a selection of snacks and water in the room to make us feel at home. Her big Labradoodle, Ace, was an immediate best friend to my pup Tesla, and her huge fenced back yard was also a great space to hang out. The house is in a pretty neighborhood that's an easy drive over to Fort Worth. Kaitlin is a great host!

Kaitlin is an amazing host! Unfortunately I didn't get to meet her or her husband and dog, as they were out of town, but she made sure to have a friend (Ben) let us in and show us the house. We arrived later than expected and Kaitlin and Ben were both responsive via messaging/text, very accommodating, gracious, and welcoming. She was flexible with check in and check out times, which was very helpful! My dog loved the yard, and so did we! The house was very clean, has a great kitchen, and has a relaxing vibe. The neighborhood was well maintained and I felt safe coming in late the night we arrived and on our second night, after attending the wedding we come to town for. I would love to stay at Kaitlin's again, and hopefully when she's around because I would love to meet her!

We didn't get to meet Kaitlin, she was away on thanksgiving. However our stay was amazing. The trust she offered us in her beautiful home was priceless. The bed was super comfortable you litterally melt on it. Her master room was fabulous and her attention and presence even being away felt amazing. We only stayed one night but we would consider it again in a future for sure. We got to meet another airbnb user with her dog who were staying in another room and they where both very nice too. Beautiful home better than the pictures, location is great!! We truly thank Kaitlin for opening her home to us.

Kathleen's place is a very beautiful home built before the turn of the 20th century. Wonderful period mementos, photos, books and stories adorn her home. I felt instantly welcome, and we had an extremely interesting visit, touching on both of our families and their history of both families moving to Texas in the 1840's from Kentucky. The room was clean, nice and very "friendly". Many thanks to her for a most pleasant stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Kathleen was very welcoming and kind. She offered to let me use her copier when I was planning on going to office max to make some copies. The neighborhood was nice and seemed very close to many things. The bedroom we stayed in appeared to have been converted from a study or some such space, as it was connected to a family room type space in the back with a collapsible wall that was kept open to the seating area and the rest of the house. My boyfriend and I were there briefly to attend a wedding so we didn't spend much time at the house, but we slept fine and had a place to rest our heads for the night!

A nice quiet place w/old-fashioned charm w/a feeling of visiting grandma and grandpa's house! Walks at Chandor Gardens and around the quiet neighborhood were relaxing, and Kathleen was a wonderful host w/much knowledge about the history of her town of Weatherford.
