My place is tucked away in the Hamlet of Bollowal, which is very close to the beautiful, rugged and wild coastal path of the West Penwith peninsula. A great location ideal for walkers and cyclists and those who love the great outdoors. I share my home with 2 friendly dogs (large and small), and 1 very fluffy cat. The house has a bohemian, rustic charm, in other words it is homely not pristine.
“Very charismatic accommodation in a secluded little hamlet mere minutes away from St. Just. We were put at ease by the host and felt welcomed as part of the family. Be aware that the sleeping area is in a converted loft, and as such, access is achieved by climbing a steep ladder. That said, it feels very snug in the loft, particularly if there is a Cornish storm a-raging outside....Definitely a place to stay for animal lovers who like a rural feel to their accommodation. The host, Ruth, is very friendly and incredibly helpful. We would happily stay here again.”
Ground floor apartment in a secluded location. There is ample private parking outside. There is a small conservatory to sit in which gets the morning sun and double doors which lead out to a patio area and private garden with direct views of the Cape.
“We really enjoyed our week at Ian and Sally’s place. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The landscape is dramatic and we loved the remote feel of the place, even though you’re just outside the small town of St Just. We enjoyed walking the coast path from Sennen to Lands End, cycling from Penzance to Marazion, visiting St Michaels on the Mount and exploring the local tin mine at Geevor as well as going to a number of art galleries in the area. One hot tip: there’s a town car park in Penzance that is £1.90 for 24 hours! Much cheaper than all the council run car parks! The golf club next to the Airbnb is open most of the time and you can use their gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi - we even did on Christmas Day!!”
A beautiful, unique hideout, nestled within a quiet terrace, minutes walk from the town centre and close to the coastal footpath. Self contained, but as part of my home, it offers self catering facilities, private access, allowing guests to relax in a romantic contemporary bedroom with stylish ensuite bathroom and living area. French doors overlook your own private cottage garden where a separate building accommodates a rustic kitchen, tucked into the garden as a cosy hideout.
“What a wonderful place to stay! The space is so warm and cozy and every detail is taken care of. The bed was so comfortable and the quality of linen, towels etc was beautiful. Justine was quick to respond to any messages and even lent me some gardening equipment to do some tidying up of my Gramdfathers grave which was much appreciated. I’ll definitely stay here again when next in St Just. Thanks again!”
