Vacation rentals with an accessible-height bed in San Carlos

We absolutely loved spending a week at Mystic View! This is a magical home in a gorgeous, natural setting. We enjoyed spending time on the porch each morning, watching birds (including toucans!) and taking in incredible views of the volcano and lake. The road to the house is a bit challenging but it’s fine if driven on during the day and if you have 4WD. We slept very well in the comfortable beds and appreciated FayBecca’s artwork. Highly recommend this special home!

This was a fantastic home with a beautiful pool. Great Internet. The Smart living room TV was huge! Washer and dryer were great to have! There was oil, salt, and coffee provided. Excellent place to stay and would stay again.

EXCELLENTE!!! I brought my Son, his wife and 5 and 8 year old. We lived in the pool area after the excursions. The beds were comfortable, TV easy, everything you need to cook in the kitchen. The house was a short 2 block walk to town and good restaurants. It’s at the end of a road so no thru traffic or street noise. FYI- the pizza place down the street has terrible pizza! La Fortuna restaurant was great! Pura Vida. Thank you Rebecca!!!

Amazing place to stay! Gorgeous view, comfy bed, great shower. Everything was very clean, nice to have laundry service available. Check in was easy, they were even able to get us in early. Very secure area. Loved being across from Mistico Parque - we got up early and walked the trails before the tour buses got there. Breakfast was so good the first day, delicious and wonderful service. Second not so much but maybe because it was Saturday. Wonderful stay all around!

We are 100% coming back to this beautiful little haven! It is impossible to put into words the inspiring experience we had here in such a short time. We didn't want to leave! The house is comfortable, clean and close to everything, yet it's completely private and safe. You can take any tour or go to Fortuna easily, but you can't miss what is at your fingertips; I HIGHLY recommend this family's cooking class, where you can walk through their wild organic garden and eat fresh food. The magnificence of the cooking class experience is impossible to explain. This family is salt-of-the-earth, which can be hard to find. Be sure to ask for the breakfast sandwich too, which is to die for! Questions were quickly answered. Requests were immediately taken care of. All the little details that Lidiana added made the visit extra meaningful. If you want a real "Tico" Costa Rica experience and are looking for a taste of what the rainforest and culture here have to offer, then look no further.

Karla and her place was a gem and an amazing find outside of La Fortuna. We did not want to stay right in the main town and definitely not at the resorts. This was the perfect blend of local vibes, nature, and amenities. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and very relaxing to come home to after full adventure days. The photos do not capture how gorgeous the scenery is. If Karla's place is available then you should definitely book it - pura vida!

We had a great short stay, could return already to continue discovering the many things to do, bathing, hiking, and the like. Juan helped with every necessary hints and recommendations and was always responsive and open for questions. Many thanks to you Maribel and Juan!
