Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The house is located in the centre of the old medieval village of Rivoira, next to the community wood-burning oven and near the old grape press. The village is located at a height of about 500 metres at the entrance to the Vigezzo Valley, and the building overlooks the beautiful Ossola valley, opposite Moncucco and Domobianca.

Canova is near the Toce River, just few minutes from Domodossola. The medieval village consists of a dozen of stone houses builded from 1200 to 1700, all restored.
