Monthly Rentals in Shap

I booked Wainwrights Rest as I was I the area for a couple of days walking. This is a hidden gem in Shap - comfortable, beautifully decorated and very peaceful. I felt right at home straightaway and enjoyed a much needed cup of tea sitting in the sun on my own balcony area outside my room. The shower was lovely after a hot and sweaty day on the fells and I appreciated the toiletries and towels provided as it meant less luggage for me. The dedicated parking area was great as it ensured I didn't annoy any local residents by parking inappropriately and the property is just a short walk to the local shop where I was able to purchase provisions for my walk the next day. A really lovely property and I'll definitely be returning, hopefully for a couple of nights next time.

We had a fantastic stay at the Granary Flat just outside Penrith. The flat was beautifully kept, comfortable, and had everything we needed, with plenty of space to relax and get ready for a nearby wedding. The host was really helpful before our arrival, providing lots of useful local information. The peaceful farm setting made it even more special. Highly recommended!

Our stay here was perfect! Easy to find, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. The stunning countryside setting was the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

Lovely little place for a stopover, or as a base to do some touring around the lakes... spotless clean, with everything needed to be comfortable, thoroughly recommended.
