Beachfront vacation rentals in Shimoda

Awesome location across a tiny street to the beach…great for multiple families or group of friends. We had a great stay & have already recommended it to others!

The host was very kind and had a comfortable stay.Thank you!The beautiful sea spreads out in front of us, and we were able to relax in a great location.It was three floors, but it was safe for a family with bad feet with an elevator in the building.We appreciated the amenities, including coffee and sweets. I'm curious about the sound of cars from the thin futon and the road just behind (I can't help it...). Also, there was no mention of it in the equipment section, but a hair dryer was provided!

I used it as a family of two, but it was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and I enjoyed cooking.

Great hosts, very quick communication. Scenery nice, locale community quiet and peaceful with some great restaurants near by.

The room was very clean and there were multiple bathrooms, which was very helpful!Also, Don Quijote was very close and it was very good to be able to shop right away.

we had a fantastic stay and abhi and his wife were wonderful hosts. my family enjoyed the spacious home which is in the middle of the nature but close to the beach and close to nice cafes. we already want to go back ! thank you so much for the memories.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations by miles. we felt at home when we arrived at the accommodation from the homey vibes and the host’s attention to cleanliness. we had everything we needed and more. what sets this stay apart is the hospitality of the host who immediately recommended the nearest hospital to us when one of us fell sick. if you are looking for a comfortable stay close to beautiful attractions this is the way to go. thank you for the hospitality and wonderful stay! 😁😁

Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect as well, with breathtaking views of the sunrise right from the window — a magical way to start each day. Our host was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They took the time to share local travel tips and even helped us plan our sightseeing route, which made our experience all the more special. The beach is right there, you can see the sea even if you are sitting in the dining room, the stars are beautiful, the location was great!It was a family trip for three generations, but I would like to come back again. There is no microwave, so I thought that if you have small children, you need to be creative with your belongings.

We spent just one night in Asami's house, but we found everything, like it was described in the Airbnb offer. Asami - san was friendly and helpful in our conversations. Check-inn was easy going. We can recommend thus location, but you would need a car. Because of Golden week holidays, Restaurants were closed. But there is a 7-Eleven and a Damily Mart store in the village. Thank you Asami - san, we felt very confortable in your home.

After parking, it takes just about 30 seconds on foot to enter the hotel area and it feels like stepping into nature itself. You are greeted by the fresh scent of grass. The two-story building is entirely made of wood, with a spacious bathroom on the first floor. The second floor features a lobby and rooms, and notably, the bathroom upstairs offers a delightful view of the trees through two large windows. Dining while listening to the sound of the sea waves and stargazing during a barbecue is an amazing experience, especially for someone from the city. I just wish I could have stayed a few more days, although the location is a bit remote. Highly recommend this hotel for a refreshing escape from urban life.

Wow! You must book this place if you are looking to stay in an area that isn’t far from a day trip to Mt Fuji. Not only that but you get your own house and space. Washing machine and dryer came in so handy for washing clothes throughout our stay. The place was so quiet, and clean. Kenjiro allowed us a space to park our rental car which was very helpful and also we could check our bags in early. Very accomodating. Also the beach is a 2 minute walk which was an amazing view and great for morning walks. I know we will be reminiscing on our stay here and in Odawara for years to come, great place.

The host is very friendly and very talkative.We also had a great two days of living.Unfortunately, I saw a sign with a hot spring in the surrounding area, but I couldn't find the hot spring.

Had a great time! And they dropped us off at Atami station when we had to leave which was very kind. Had a lovely and peaceful stay and really enjoyed the architecture.
