Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Shimoda

Easy 10/10. This place is probably the most beautiful and coziest Airbnb I’ve stayed at. The hosts were super nice, they provided us with tea bags, instant coffee, blankets, towels, basically everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, view is stunning, and you might run into one or two cats on your way home if you decided to stay here!!! Overall, it was a wonderful stay!!!

I was interested in free-to-use musical instruments, a wood stove, a BBQ, a cypress bath, and I stayed overnight with my family. There was a narrow mountain road on the way, and it was a little difficult because it was raining, but when we arrived, we had a pleasant and pleasant time in a completely private environment. The owner was very kind and easy to talk to, and I appreciated the willingness to respond to various questions.

This is the best homestay I have stayed in recently. The house is tidy, the view is beautiful, cooking is convenient, suitable for gatherings, the flow line design and lighting design in the building are perfect.

It was a same-day stay reservation, but they handled it comfortably. The price was cheap, the inside was spacious, and the impression that it was a little worn out, it was a satisfactory building. This is a place I would like to stay again when I go to Numazu.

We stayed in this lovely home just outside of town, nestled in nature, for one month and felt right at home. Abhi is a most generous and considerate host, he helped us out from start to finish and made sure we had the best time in the Shimoda area. You do not need a car if staying here as the beach and a couple of restaurants are only about a 10 min walk from the house and convenience store about 20 minutes and a couple more good restaurants / bars about 35 minutes. But if you want to visit more sites in the area or go to the grocery store we'd recommend a car. The main reason we were visiting the area was to dive with the huge schools of Hammerhead sharks just off the coast here. Without a car the dive center can pick you up. When we booked this place, we worried how far it was from the airport, but it’s totally worth it! The trains stopped working at midnight and the host was kind enough to pick us up from Izu Train station!! The cabin sits on top of a mountain and the view is incredible, from seeing the mountain skyline to the sunset over the ocean. It truly is a must see experience and the host was kind enough to let us check out an hour late! The host is also very humble and won’t hesitate to help out whatever you need. Love this place and my wife and I would be happy to stay here again. Thank you!

We've used it. Tent sauna and BBQ can be used by large groups!The sea, golf courses, day-use hot springs, etc. are just beyond your eyes and nose! Great location! I am very satisfied with the things I want to do.The room was lovely and I slept slowly at night.You may want to go with your loved ones.

Great accommodation, balcony can see the sea directly, and there are various recreational facilities.Whether it's for an individual or for business, it's a very good option.

Friendly host that replies quickly. We were informed well before we arrived. Nice to have easy access to skytree and the surrounding area without staying near the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed walking the shopping street nearby and imagining how past generations lived here. If you want a genuine, authentic feel for Japan stay here. We chose this location for the easy access to Narita airport. It’s one train without connections and it was very spacious and not busy with commuters.

This is a really beautiful place. Very relaxing with the waves crashing down below, a tub outside and a sauna, and a beautiful gas fireplace to cozy up to in the evening. The decor was fascinating also, everything was designed so beautifully. I appreciated the easy automatic locks for the door, the big bedroom to fit the whole family (also with amazing views) and the comfortable bedding. Every item you need in the kitchen was provided, and the washer/dryer combo was great to have. Also the location was great, just a short drive to a variety of things to see. I also loved the recommendations for hot springs and restaurants! Super helpful. I am looking forward to staying here again!
