If I could own a holiday home in the Lake District this would be it. Great open plan kitchen, dining and living room meaning everyone can be sociable together. Kitchen stocked with everything you need including a few starter items. Bedrooms all spacious and beautifully furnished. Beds were super comfy. Bathrooms all clean and showers hot and powerful. Highly recommend.

Hazel and Ian have thought of everything you could possibly need in the lodge. A very friendly welcome and goodbye and I appreciated the quick replies to messages and local suggestions. I hope to be back to stay soon!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Ralph’s cabin near Penrith! Ralph was a fantastic host with excellent communication, even offering to adjust the heating for us remotely, which was so thoughtful. The cabin was cozy with nice, comfy beds, and the kids were thrilled with the selection of games available. We even spotted wild rabbits outside the bedroom window, which was a special treat! The location is ideal, close to Keswick, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.
