Vacation rentals with a firepit in Somerset

Absolute gem of a place. Needed a weekend away from everyday life and Julie’s place did you disappoint. From the moment we landed to the minute we left Julie was lovely and always on hand if needed. The scenery and HotTub is a must. Will be back again if her AirBnB remains.

We all had an excellent stay. The house was amazing & even better than the photos showed it. Very well equipped & clean & tidy. We even sat in the sun at the top of the garden with a glass of bubbly. Thank you for an amazing weekend. We will definitely be back😊

A great place to stay. Very comfortable. Lots of crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. great friendly communication prior to our stay. Was the perfect location for us to see family over Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully.

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. We stayed during Christmas week and our cottage was decorated with a beautiful real Christmas tree, some holiday lights and a poinsetta! The kitchen has a nice size refridgerator/freezer. Main floors are heated - a nice comfort this time of year. Our host was gracious and very responsive. The cottage is in a quiet area. Grocery stores were only 2 miles drive.

Such a wonderful stay, peaceful surroundings and a beautiful property that had everything we needed. Great communication with the host which was really appreciated.

Amazing easter bank holiday break stay, lovely big space for family to spend together both indoors and outdoor. Property was well presented, clean and tidy offers everything you would need for a self catered break. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the bath area (10 minutes to park and ride) Debra recommended a local pub for dinner which was lovely.

I had the most amazing stay at le shed recovering from surgery and escaping life. Jane could not have been more welcoming or supportive with her magical breakfast fairy deliveries. Every minute detail has been thought of from hot water bottles, endless wood for fires, slippers and dog treats. It is a beautiful place to stay for some R+R. I can’t wait to return. Lovely, warm, cosy place. Had everything we needed. Cat was very helpful and quick to respond.

Ecolodge was incredibly comfortable, spacious and private. I felt right at home and relaxed staying there. The provisions were generous (a loaf of bread, eggs, homemade jam as well as coffee, tea etc and much more). Also there were tons of apples in the trees in the orchard which I was allowed to pick! Namee was great at communicating and responding to my emails. One thing is that the lodge is 2 miles from Trull and you need to drive to get anywhere - not a big deal for me, but something to be aware of. Overall I would absolutely stay here again.

As soon as we found the listing my wife and I knew it was the place we wanted to go to, for a well deserved, child free, mini-break! The reviews were great and I can see why. I’ve personally barely used Air BnB so there is always an element of uncertainty of ‘will it be as good as it looks’ but as soon as we booked & received welcoming, helpful communication from Lynne & Ken we immediately felt assured that this was going to be easy, & stress free. The place is lovely - very romantic. The bedroom is stunning and the hot tub was amazing. The only thing I would do differently next time and this is advice for anyone looking to stay here, is to bring food and drink with you. We naively thought “we’ll just pop to a supermarket when we get there” but it’s quite a drive to get anywhere which eats into your first day. We had a minor issue with the heating but Lynne was on hand to help & we sorted it easily. We had a lovely stay, & would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Thank you!

This is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views from the outside terrace. This accommodation had everything we needed and was very convenient for visiting local attractions such as Wells and Cheddar Gorge. Carol was excellent at communicating and very helpful when we needed to change our booking due to personal circumstances. Thank you for a great stay Carol and the delicious complimentary cream tea you left for us. We would definitely come back here again and recommend it to family and friends.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. A terrific stay, thank you very much. We loved the cabin with its privacy and comfort. Enjoyed using the outside bath and shower, all in the absolute silence of the farm.

We have just stayed at The Wales Retreat for the 2nd time (the first time being 3 years ago). This place truly is a retreat. The location is fabulous, a lovely quiet site and sitting on the comfortable chairs on the decking, all you can hear is the sound of the waves and the sea. All the different options for seating, means that there is a seat suitable for everyone. The garden is secure for dogs and there is an area for fire pits and BBQ. The Wales Retreat is true to the photos. It's spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It is a home from home and has all the facilities you need to make it a fabulous holiday. Emily keeps you informed of all the instructions you need to check in and a number is provided should you need it if you have any issues. There is a pub onsite which serves food in the evening and also has a children's play area. The walk down to the beach is not an easy one, but it is worth it. This is a five star accommodation and we look forward to staying again.

We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place for a New Years reunion for 5 lifelong friends. We're of an age where warmth and convenience are our goals, and this large, well-appointed and unusual log cabin gave us all these. In the summer, NOATAC would be ideal for those who want the great outdoors, perhaps a younger generation than us, as there is a large garden and decked area. But we still enjoyed a walk or two, even if it was mid-winter! Thanks, Matthew, for a most enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

what a lovely stay! Great communication throughout from Amy, making us feel very welcome. Hunters Barn was exactly as we thought it would be, in a lovely setting with friendly animals. And beautiful inside. Wish we could have stayed longer. Amy's little touches were a lovely surprise too, and the box of toys left out for our son to play with was another added bonus and very appreciated. Pleasure staying here.

An amazing, relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. The huge fenced area was perfect for our dog and he loved having the space to run around. We loved it, it was just what we needed. Thank you Mike!
