Great property in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for our young family, with so much to do. Hosts took great care to make us feel welcome. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Without doubt the best air BnB trip we’ve ever been on. The shepherd hut itself is immaculate and the garden, paired with the hot tub is perfection. We were lucky to have two unbelievable sun sets which was a dream. Jess is an outstanding host - always responds straight away with answers to queries and also gives great recommendations when asked. Stayed for 3 nights in the cabin. Hosts Rob & Corin were very friendly & helpful. The cabin is in a private garden, which is beautifully maintained, peaceful, with great views. The cabin has everything you need for a fabulous break, lovely log fire & the hot tub makes it extra special, so relaxing just watching the birds on the feeder& listening to the cows & sheep in the local fields. Will definitely return & will recommend to friends.

What a stay! We had really high expectations for this place and it did not disappoint! The cottage is very comfortable with everything you need - the kitchen is a summer kitchen but shielded and covered so it was absolutely not a problem for us. We also used the hot tub and the firepit which were incredible experiences with breathtaking surroundings. In terms of the local area, we didn’t have a car and managed perfectly without. The walk to (the lovely) Frome historical town is only a 30min walk and the majority through a lovely park. There’s also a supermarket 10min walk from the cottage. Lexie, the host, was super helpful, responsive and friendly, showing us around, sharing local recommendations but also getting us breakfast of bread, butter, eggs from the ducks and jam (as well as hot cross buns for Easter). All in all - I 100% recommend this place, just out of a period drama. We’ll be back!

Shelley was lovely, very accommodating and happy to share her knowledge on the local area. She has a nice homestead with chickens and pigs and provides the B and B with her own produce. It was a great addition to have a nice cooked breakfast before hitting the road again. The accommodation has a very homely feel with a touch of quirkiness. Great place to stay but we were surprised about the lack of restaurants and pubs serving food in the area on the day of our visit.

I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s absolutely stunning! We stayed 2 nights and I wish it could have been longer. Everything was considered, the space is comfortable and homely with an incredible design and the outdoor space is just gorgeous. Russell and Richard are lovely, considerate and generous hosts who clearly take great pride in the property. We hope to return next year!

A totally unique and charming stay, highly recommended! My family and I had the pleasure of staying at The Mill for three nights and enjoyed every second! This is a beautiful property, rich with heritage, tastefully modernised without destroying the history of the building and really fun to explore and live in! We felt right at home, had all we needed to live very comfortably and particularly enjoyed the log burner. Ilminster was 10 minutes away with a range of shops, a nice park and a load of EV chargers. Yet The Mill felt a million miles away from the bustle of the town. The surrounding property is alive with beautiful animals, flora and fauna! My youngest was obsessed with the goats and Miniature Shetlands. There is obviously a large stream running right by The Mill but sadly it was a bit too chilly for us to get wet or kayak- hopefully next time! Overall this was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay that we’d highly recommend and hope we can return to.

Such a special place to stay. We had our dogs with us and the facilities were perfect. Lots of lovely places to walk and even a warm outdoor hose and towels available to make sure we could keep the place clean. Very responsive and helpful hosts
