Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Jordan River Cabin

All the comforts of a modern cabin in our newly built "Jordan River Cabin" nestled amongst 3 acres of tall evergreens with floor to ceiling window views. Fire up the BBQ on the wrap around deck. Wood stove comes supplied with kindling & firewood. Open concept, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Fresh towels & linens for 2 king size bedrooms & 2 rain shower bathrooms, a huge soaker bathtub upstairs, a hot outdoor rain shower + wood fired cedar hot tub & a newly added meditation deck!

Gated, beautiful oceanfront modern home. Very unique, semi-private getaway. A great west coast living experience. 5 minute drive to all amenities & 40 minutes to Victoria. Ocean is steps away to paddle board/kayak/ canoe/swim or walk along the public bedrock shoreline. Close to hiking & biking trails, such as Galloping Goose Trail & Sooke Potholes. Plus, nearby fishing & whale watching charters. Or, just relax. Note: House being built on lot beside Airbnb; Sept 27/25. Foundation is done.

Sooke Cedar House - Aletheia Suite

The Aletheia Suite is nearly 800 Sq ft of "Wow". The King size hand crafted four poster luxurious bed never ceases to amaze. Two sided wood burning fire place, extra large jacuzzi tub, WIFI and flat screen TV. Private sitting area and well equipped kitchenette (including: fridge, microwave/convection oven, hot plate, toaster, kettle, french press). Outside your private entrance is a large covered patio that overlooks english gardens complete with fountains, arbours, ponds and lit covered BBQ.

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

This is a large, upper level, open concept room that contains the sleeping, kitchenette, office space and living room area. It is ideal for one to two people.

Nestled in a small neighborhood overlooking the Sooke Basin, our cozy 1 bdrm cottage is the ideal space to relax & enjoy the natural beauty of the West Coast. The Galloping Goose walking/biking trail is across the street. Kayak rental, Craft brewery, marina and a restaurant are all within walking distance. Travel 20 mins by car to the Westshore, 30-60 mins to many renowned beaches/hiking destinations. Steps to #61 bus route to downtown Victoria.

Interaction with guests will usually be minimal however we are available should you need anything or have questions. We want to ensure you have the privacy that you deserve. One of a kind converted 1969 School Bus

This is a 1969 school bus lovingly converted into a tiny guest house in a whimsical garden space. We are located in a rural residential area near Sooke BC, just off the Galloping Goose Trail. (Km37) Surrounded by stunning beaches, pristine forest and coastal hikes, refreshing lakes and rivers, wildlife and natural beauty galore. A 30 minute drive from Victoria, or approximately 3 hour bike ride if you’re feeling adventurous.
