Its on a quiet, leafy street, a 5 minute walk to the trendy, cafe-styled streets and urban village lifestyle of Green Point and feel utterly spoiled for choice of things to do. It is a 5-7 minute drive from V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain and the stunning white beaches of Camps Bay. and the entertainment districts of Long and Kloof Streets and Sea Point.

The Lobster Pot - Simons Town Holiday Cottage

The Lobster Pot is an old family cottage that has been the location of many a memorable holidays down at the sea, snorkeling in the marine reserve, paddling around the rocky islands and going for hikes up the mountain. The Lobster Pot is a cosy little wooden cottage that is perfect for summer and winter, boasting beautiful views of False Bay and surrounding Cape point vista. The Lobster Pot is 5 Km out of Simonstown, between Bolders beach,penguin colony, and Cape Point. Come make memories!

There are views of the mountain from the terrace, secure parking and a private walled garden with swimming pool. The main house sleep 4-5 (double, twin and single bedrooms) and the garden flat sleep 2-4 (double bedroom and sofa-bed in living room). The architect-designed bungalow is spectacular with views from every angle and is beautifully decorated and kitted out. Great swimming and snorkelling!

Wijnberg Cottage is a 2 bedroom self-catering cottage consisting of 2 queen size beds and one lovely shower/bath room for you to enjoy. There is a well equipped kitchen should you want to prepare your own food as well as a Weber BBQ on the patio, we are also in walking distance to a variety of local restaurants. We also have electricity! All the time :-) Our property has an inverter/battery/solar system so the cottage continues to have power/internet even when Eskom doesn't.
