Vacation rentals with lake access in South West England

Truly wonderful stay - my parents and daughter travelled from Australia to spend Christmas with me and we decided to go to the Cotswolds (along with my dog). I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Tracey’s home had everything we needed, set amongst a beautiful, tranquil surrounding nestled on the lake. Picturesque views and relaxing surroundings. The house itself is beautifully presented - lots of lovely little touches and thoughtful additions. It was so easy to get around from the house to all different parts of the Cotswolds - perfect place to come back to after a days worth of outings. Nice hot shower and comfy couch and amenities. Restaurants and pubs close by within an easy four to six minute drive - dogs welcome! Thank you for a wonderful stay. It truly made our Christmas.

We had a wonderful stay at Annie’s place in Hayle. We have family local to this area so it was ideal for us. We loved that there was a gorgeous beach restaurant just a stones throw away (Gilbert’s) where we enjoyed a lovely lunch. The beaches at Hayle are some of the best in Cornwall and their locality is perfect. The house was cosy, warm and had all the amenities you could need. The beds were comfortable, showers hot and furniture comfortable and clearly well looked after. We would definitely return and would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Nicola’s place. She provided really useful information before we arrived so we could get in easily and felt right at home. The house was unbelievably well equipped, we cooked multiple meals in the kitchen and toys to suit all of our children ranging from 0-8. The cot and toddler bed were set up waiting and had linen which is so helpful! Nicola was very responsive and friendly. The estate has a restaurant on site, but they recommend booking particularly at weekends. There is an amazing outdoor pool, where we spent most of our time. For the indoor pool you need to be bang on time as it gets very busy! A perfect stay for us. Thank you

Perfect cottage for families with an on site restaurant, takeaway pizza and great walks nearby. Cottage was clean with a log burner and selection of games to keep us entertained!

A beautiful, modern lake side house with spacious open plan kitchen and living area with stunning views over the lake. The bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with birthday treats when we arrived, which were a nice touch. Impeccably clean, and decorated tastefully. Lots to do near by, but it felt secluded enough to enjoy a countryside feel. Thanks for letting us come, we had a great time. James was responsive and helpful when needed.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. **Location:** The location is absolutely perfect! The views were stunning and we couldn’t wait to take full advantage of the hot tub! **Accommodation:** The space itself was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Especially the log burner! **Host:** Candice & Dan are outstanding hosts! They were very responsive and provided excellent recommendations for local dining. **Overall Experience:** Overall, our stay at Club Casita was nothing short of fantastic, although we had to cut this short due to a family emergency out of our control. We had a lovely time! The house is well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. It has a great location in the Cotswolds, near beautiful towns and right by a lake with plenty of wildlife and tranquility. Highly recommended!

Lovely modern apartment attached to the owners centuries old home. Immaculate throughout and in a quiet location on the outskirts of Witney. On this occasion I used as a mid way stop off to travel into Southern England but this would be a great location to explore the Cotswolds and all it has to offer. Highly recommend and I hope I’ll be able to stay again in the future.

Really great location to get into Portsmouth via the ferry. Lovely clean flat with super comfy beds. Host had kindly left tea and coffee etc. The Bakehouse bar/ restaurant round the corner on the waterfront is worth a visit. Great communication from owner. 100% recommend.

This was our second stay at Michelle's place and we found the flat to be as lovely as the first time. The check in instructions were clear and we found the parking spot with no trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the lovely welsh cakes Michelle had left out for us. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

Lovely apartment within walking distance of great restaurants and easy access to public transport to Bournemouth and other surrounding areas if needed. Very accommodating host, was eager to help us out and personalise our visit, would 100% stay again

The Sail Loft was clean and well equipped with a lovely view of the lake. It was ideal for our next section of the South West Coast Path. Jen was a friendly and responsive host willing to share information and answer questions. No hesitation in recommending the property.

Our family and my best friend who had travelled all the way from Australia, stayed in Steve and Allison's beautiful home. My friend stayed in the 2 storey apartment.

A lovely home from home, the apartment is furnished well, with everything you could need at hand in the kitchen. Helen and Jonathan were extremely helpful and responsive, wonderful hosts. A very cozy, warm apartment and kept very clean. Ideal location for early morning walk along the beach front or lazy stroll as the sunsets, nice views and plenty of fresh air. Parking for 1 car allocated and right on the door step also handy. If we visit the area again we would look to stay here again.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

Definitely worth staying!! It is beautiful, for homebodies like myself, it has some good Movies and games! For more active people, there are beautiful walls and sights!! Perfect for any type of person! Carolyn was amazing, whenever i needed help, she was there! Even if it was just a stupid question! Thank you very much, will definitely come back!!!

Thank you for a great stay at Nantucket Lodge. We had a great and peaceful time by the lake and enjoyed feeding the swans and the ducks. An absolutely charming, well equipped cottage. As a young family the cottage was perfectly set up for our toddler with everything we could possibly need and more. She particularly loved playing with the toys you had left! Jason is the perfect host. Always super responsive, great recommendations and really thoughtful. Thank you so much for having us.

Perfect comfortable one bedroom accommodation for us and our dog. Peaceful location, with a lovely walk along the river into Wareham for places to eat. Recommend The Horse and Groom, great food, dog friendly.

What a beautiful place. The view from the rear is spectacular and no doubt one of the best air bnbs we have stayed in. Clare and Lee were great hosts, the house was spotless.
