We had a delightful 2 nights in the Garden Cottage at Whispering Winds. The farm is so artfully presented with a menagerie of bunnies,goat,sheep,chickens and horses. such a playful and joyous space. Our bed was extremely comfortable. Beverly is a wonderful host. Highly recommended. we look forward to our next visit to the farm!

My son and I had a great time at this tiny house. We brought water, drinks, food, and a portable grill. We cooked some ribeye and made the most of the small fridge and microwave during our stay. This spot is very isolated, not on someone’s farmstead, so you feel like you have it to yourself. Also, great views of the western sky because it is a bit elevated with fields surrounding it to the east and south. Spring Valley is nearby, and it’s a great place to get breakfast and to just feel like you’re part of a small town, even if your reality is the Twin Cities. Sunshine Foods is a nice grocery store in town and has everything you may need, just minutes away from this location. Dan also provides access to a second private location on his farm, which has a completely separate location with a living area, a very clean shower and bathroom, and a laundry, which is a great value add, well beyond the tiny house in the photos.

This was our 4th time staying here with our dog, and it was wonderful as always! The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and clean. The grounds are spacious and pretty and we enjoyed walking our dog around the property to explore. During one of our morning walks with our dog, we had the chance to visit with the gentleman who helps take care of the grounds-he was super nice and gave us some recommendations of things to do in the area. It turns out he grew up in a town only about 15 miles from where we live! We hiked at Forestville State Park with our dog during this visit-this was our first time going there, and it was so pretty. Leslie contacted us ahead of time to give us some tips on the thermostat-we appreciate her proactiveness and great communication. She's a great host and we love this property. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We were so glad to have Marlo's house to stay in as we said good-bye to a beloved family member and remembered him with laughter and tears. The house was peaceful, extremely clean, and comfortable. We especially appreciated the size of the kitchen and living room which accommodated our group easily. Thank you, Marlo, for your hospitality!
