Jackie and John were amazing host's and we thank them for sharing their beautiful cottage with us for the Easter weekend..comfortable dwelling, located in a gorgeous village. The accommodation was fantastic, My mother whom is in her 80s found it perfect to navigate around, which can be difficult in other accommodations. Nice touch with homemade cakes and Jam. Peaceful location , accommodation is larger than the pictures depict, it is well equipped and lots of information available. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, I would highly recommend. There is only one negative of our trip, is that we should have booked it for a few more days !! Great stay, thank you

The guest room was absolutely perfect for our stay, it was truly like a home away from home. Vicky has gone above and beyond to create such a comfy and cosy environment for guests. The selection of treats for breakfast was incredible, something for every appetite and the little kitchen was so well equipped! The shower was fantastic and the underfloor heating was a welcome addition. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil place to stay in the area!

Studio 17 is lovely, homely and more spacious than it looks. Everything has been thought of down to the smallest detail to make your stay comfortable. It's set on a private cul de sac and is very quiet. There are 2 great pubs only 3 mins walk away which both serve great food and drink & the bus to York is only 5 mins walk away Liz was a very friendly host who always responded quickly. Will definately stay again in the future.
