Beachfront vacation rentals in Syracuse

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

Clean,tidy and very nice apartment. It has everything you need, and even more, to spend a pleasant vacation. Super helpful and friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

THE PERFECT LOCATION and the BEST view. We were very pleased with the apartment. The view and location are even better than described. There is some street noise during the day and evening but very quiet at night.

This place was in amazing location and is walkable to all the lively spots on the island. Andrea was the best Airbnb host we have ever had. He responds right away, was always there for questions and gave us recommendations for the entire city so we did feel in great hands. I recommend this place to everybody. The Airbnb was very clean and had all we needed for our 3 day trip! Stay here Andrea will take great care of you.

Where to even begin, okay: hospitality. These guys make you feel at home straight away. They went above and beyond for our baby with toys and a bed, the fridge was filled, a pie was baked and they responded very quickly. Lovely apartment, not super huge but we didn’t need that. Great part of town: you can walk everywhere. Literally. Also thought the price was very decent. Don’t hesitate: book!

Excellent stay at Simona's apartment, which is very nice and responsive. The view of the port is beautiful! The apartment was very clean and great location for visiting Ortigia. Big plus for private parking where it is possible to park. We would highly recommend staying at Simona's place during your stay in Syracuse.

Great independent villa, very clean, equipped with everything you need. Exceptional communication with Paolo and Kora, as well as their kindness and availability. Fantastic location, 2 min walk from the sea, no more than an hour from many famous towns in Sicily (Noto -15min, Marzamemi -30min, Dubrovnik -45min). Close to restaurants and supermarkets. We appreciated the tranquility of the place and the total independence. We hope to be back soon and we will definitely recommend it:) Thank you very much!

Beautiful apartment. Very well located in the heart of Ortigia. Be sure to walk from the car parks, unless you can get permission for your car for the ZTL (true for any ortigia). Very well arranged and equipped. Probably cool in the summer (we went there in April). Recommended for visiting Syracuse.

Very good stay in this peaceful place. The accommodation and environment match the photos. Very nice proximity to the beach. Plenty of storage in the accommodation.

Federica’s apartment is even better than the description! After Naples and Palermo, this was just perfect for some time relaxing. The pool is lovely and overlooks the sea, you can swim at anytime. You can also go down some steep, narrow steps to the beach and swim in the sea with little fishes! The house is spotless, has a very comfortable bed and best of all, mosquito screens meant we didn’t need to use the air-con and could fall asleep listening to the sea! There is a lovely balcony set up with chairs and a table where you can enjoy the sea view and sunrise if you’re up early enough! All in all, perfect, a lovely bottle of wine was left for us too. I really didn’t want to leave!

The location is fantastic. The cleanliness of the place is spotless. All kitchen utensils and appliances are in perfect condition. There were very nice crockery and wine glasses, no mixed machine. Although the hosts live in the same house on the upper floor, we had full privacy and direct sea access on the terrace. I enjoyed the beautiful pots with well-kept plants, as it is often not the case even in good hotels. For sports enthusiasts: There is a several kilometer long bike/hiking trail along the coast about 500m from the accommodation, with spectacular views from the rocks. It starts at Monumento ai caduti d'Africa. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant Meditè suggested by the property, the food was the worst of our Sicily trip. I would highly recommend "a Levante" where we ate twice on the terrace for lunch.

The place is impeccable, it has everything you need. Alessandro is an incredible host, always ready to help, he is attentive and always responds to messages. He went to look for me all the way to Syracuse! And then he accompanied me to buy food because it was very late. Thank you Alessandro!!! Highly recommend

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Carlotta. We came to Sicily as a three generational family and needed a space for all us - we hit the jackpot! It was open, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. It is in a beautiful, peaceful spot but walking distance to the beachfront. We lived walking down to the market every morning to get our fresh bread! Alessio was an absolutely wonderful host. He messaged the day before to check our arrival time and we were met at the end of the road. He gave us plenty of recommendations ( we did them all!) and was available by phone whenever we needed him. The house is simply gorgeous. Modern and clean and the beds are super comfortable. The pool was a highlight! Our children (aged 2 and 4) loved it and used it every day, even in April! Alessio, we cannot thank you enough for the most incredible stay. We would recommend it to every one. The only negative was that we had to leave, we would have stayed longer if we could! Thank you 💜

House was amazing. Andrea is a super host. Our kids mostly have loved the pool. The only drawback was the loud ambient noise that the host couldn't do anything for. In the neighborhood there was a construction site that unfortunately also caused hours of engine noise to us on Saturdays. And unfortunately, the chainsaw was also a daily companion. But we still had a fantastic, relaxing week here and took many great excursions.

This is a beautiful beach house in a great location. Ida is a very accommodating and responsive host, who makes you feel very welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Sabrina’s lovely, comfortable house with its green, spacious garden. It was really decorated with love and attention and we felt incredibly at home. Simply a wonderful holiday house. We were there in low season so the surroundings were quiet. Something we liked but meant we had to take the car if we wanted to go out for dinner. Lovely stay, highly recommended!

We can only recommend Beniamino's apartment. The accommodation is spacious, clean, matches the photos. The owner facilitates access through their availability and clear instructions. He manages to put guests at ease in this apartment on the 2nd floor: 2 beautiful air-conditioned bedrooms if needed, 2 bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen-living area. The L-shaped terrace lined with trees allows you to see the sea and by its different orientations, to put yourself in the shade or in the sun. It is easy to find a place on the street. The walking distance from Ortigia and historical sights allows you to discover Syracuse. The plus is access to the sea from a private rocky platform. Thank you Beniamino for your hosting and advice. Very pleasant and quiet house in a clutch of streets near the sea about 15 minutes drive from Syracuse. The gardens are very pretty and immaculately maintained and the kitchen had an excellent supply of cooking equipment. The property is spacious and airy with good bedding and air-conditioning. Shower was very clean with strong pressure of hot water. As other reviews have noted there is no Wi-Fi but the 4G reception is excellent and I was able to use that for video calls et cetera so not a major problem. The host was very prompt and efficient in communicating and was super friendly when we met them at the house.

Summer vacation of absolute relaxation! We stayed at this facility in the 4th week of July. The house, newly built, offers all the comforts a family wants , especially with the presence of children, taking into account immediate access to the beach, bordered by only one gate. Equally appreciated was the green garden space, well cared for, including the presence of games and the beach equipment available to guests. A note of merit also for the managers/owners of the house, courteous and available to meet any need as soon as possible. The house also enjoys a great location, strategic to reach the towns of Avola, Noto and Ortigia, all almost equidistant from the structure (about 15/20 km) As for walking in the area, Fontane Bianche certainly does not allow excellent pedestrian mobility, but there are still essential services, bars, markets, restaurants, etc.

Even nicer than we imagined- the patio is right off the bedroom making it super easy to use for breakfast and afternoon drinks. It has the best view in the city!

Everything is great! Martina is a wonderful host! The terrace is wonderful with the beautiful olive tree, where you can eat nicely and enjoy the evenings.

A great starting point for exploring the surrounding area and the entire southeastern area of Sicily. The owner's daughter (she teaches English) gave us advice on everything we needed and helped with the choice of a restaurant, or with other things if we needed. Parking was never an issue right in front of the house, but we were here in the off-season. We can recommend.
