Swallow's Nest is a unique strawbale cabin built out of barley straw from the farm, local clay and lime plaster finished in natural clay paints with a sedum roof. This bright and inviting cabin sleeps 2 people and a baby cot and has cosy furnishings.
“Had a pleasant week long stay here with a baby and dog. The Swallow's Nest was very spacious, with room to spare even with a travel cot and large crate. Directions and self check-in was very straightforward. We had fresh eggs from the farm in the morning - very tasty - and met the Dexters and pigs on our walk around. Good information available for things to do in the area although I was mostly visiting family anyway. Would stay again!”
Lovely home in a rural setting in Dunsany Co Meath. 10 mins by car to the M3. 15 mins to historic Trim, 34 mins to Dublin Airport. Only 3km from the Hill of Tara and 3 km from the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course at Killeen Castle. This house has 3 double rooms listed separately on Airbnb.
“Audrey’s place was so adorable. Her and her husband were so nice and hospitable. This trip was the first time we’ve had such a huge time difference from home so my husband couldn’t sleep which led us to sleep in until 11:03 am Ireland time. Audrey was too nice and allowed for us to take our time with check out which totally topped our stay. We’d definitely recommend Audrey and Noel’s Woodstock BnB!”

“It was a pleasure to stay on Cilleen B&B. It was all made by heart with love. Everything was there. All professional and nice. It was warm and cozy. A quiet place. I can recomend that its easier by car to reach and to enjoy the ancient east around. But with the 109 from Dublin good to reach. Just be aware that it is an official bus stop nowhere mentioned (internet, app) where you need to go out. I enjoyed the stay and location.”
