Restaurants, museums and cafes are within walking distance, comfortably by bus thanks to the stop a couple of minutes away or by Citybike, whose station is very close to the apartment.

Il Grottino

The "grottino" (NL-00003565) is a small independent house consisting of two rooms: on the ground floor the living area with a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower, on the first floor the sleeping area with a double bed. It can only accommodate two adults, a private parking space is available a few meters away. There's no TV. Quiet and sunny area, surrounded by greenery with large garden for guests. It is 16 km from Lake Lugano, 12 km from Bellinzona and 25 km from Locarno.

The house is very quiet and you can reach it in about 7 minutes' walk uphill from the private parking lot or on foot from the public parking lot in Canedo in about 15 minutes on a flat path. There is no direct car access.

On the large terrace, or the other 3 small balconies, you can enjoy the magnificent views of Lake Lugano. If you are free of vertigo and a little brave, you can admire the panoramic view from the tower, which is part of the apartment. The grounds offer numerous idyllic garden seats to linger and enjoy.

Located at the end of an 80-step staircase (see pictures - fitness program included :-)), you have an unobstructed view of nature, the lake and Ascona from every room, pool and garden seating area. The house is rented to a maximum of 4 adults and up to 3 children. Pool season from May - September.
