Vacation rentals with a sauna in Ticino

Everything perfect - we felt comfortable from A-Z:-)! Absolute recommendation!

Perfect Airbnb for couples. Neatly organized and cleaned. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Location is 10min from the lake and 2mins from a busstop, which brings you to the city in no time. Great experience overall, including the highlight of the sauna. Easy to handle and Airbnb has everything you need. Just be aware the kitchen is limited, and yet stocked enough for cooking delicious meals. Also, there is expensive parking close by. Little secret: There is a parking lot in Minusio (Remorino) for ~6.- per day, accessible by bus directly from the Airbnb ;)

We stayed with Jonathan for a total of 5 nights, the place was as shown on the pictures. The view was beautiful. Everything was clean and superbly equipped. The furnishings are of high quality and the beds are very comfortable. The swimming pool with sauna was a great change, our daughter enjoyed it very much. We were mostly alone in the swimming pool. Also the sauna use was not an issue. We say thank you and highly recommend Jonathan and his place

The surroundings with the view look very nice and the pools have delighted us. The path on foot from the village center is steep, with stairs faster but exhausting. But with very nice views. We loved the stay and the provider was accommodating with all the information we needed.

We enjoyed our vacation in the apartment very much. This is state-of-the-art furnishings. It is also very cozy and leaves nothing to be desired. Since we had some bad weather, we stayed in the apartment and enjoyed the indoor pool and spa area. If the landlord takes us back, we will certainly be very happy to rent this apartment again for our vacation... :-)

Regula's apartment is situated right in front of the lake in a peaceful neighborhood. The space is clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Regula greeted us warmly, offering homemade jams and milk bread. She also provided plenty of local tips about the region. From the apartment, it's easy to drive to several nearby destinations like Lugano, Milan, and Como. We will definitely return!

It was really a great vacation at Andrea's place. The lake view was unbeatable. Pool, sauna, complete residential complex well maintained. Beautiful lake promenade, great location. Small note for the crib, it was a little too short for our 2-year-old, not a standard size., but sufficient for very small babies. We'll be back for sure.

Hosts were VERY responsive at any time of day. Space is great for two people, or for a family with older children. Unfortunately not very convenient for anyone with a lot of luggage or stroller. Too many stairs to climb up with all your things. We later discovered that we could take an elevator from the lower garage in the complex (located next to their swimming pool inside) and take the elevator to the second floor. Wish we knew about that option when we checked in- would’ve made our lives a lot easier( but there were still a few steps either way to have to lug all of your things up). But for anyone that is traveling light, this place is great for you. Located next to train station. Just be aware that it is up high, so you will be walking uphill and downhill to get to anything/ anywhere- which was very tough for us with all of our luggage and small child in stroller. All in all the space was pleasant and what we were looking for - aside for the issue with stairs and uphill from everyt

Gerda is one of the best hosts I've ever encountered: nice, kind, funny and flexible. A truly nice human being. And the flat was great: clean and tidy, it's the perfect spot to visit Locarno. We were there for the film festival, we highly recommend it!

The place was exactly as described. The apartment is very clean and well equipped, it had everything we needed. The paved balcony was great, as we could sit outside even in winter when the sun shone. The location is great, the bus stop only a few meters and over the way along the lake, you can be in Locarno in 30 minutes. There is a playground nearby, which you could easily walk to. The communication worked excellently, Ralph always responded very quickly and was always very friendly. We would recommend the place.

Our daughter loved the pool. It's ideal for families. The apartment was clean and perfect for our stay. Locarno is accessible within 20min or a 5min bus journey. Accessing the flat was step-free via the lift, ideal for buggies. Would book again.

For festival goers this is a good listing, although you won't be able to make the Piazza Grande screenings.

October 2024, 2 people We felt very comfortable in this beautiful, well-kept apartment. It is high quality and fully equipped. 2 equivalent great bedrooms with very comfortable beds and quality bedding. Very spacious dining area,also suitable for working, great internet throughout. Fantastic views from the beautiful balcony and from one of the bedrooms. This apartment is just GREAT! Beautiful, quiet surroundings and just a few minutes walk to the lake and promenade. Brigitte is a likeable, attentive host and helps where she can. It is important to pay attention to the check-in and check-out times and a few rules, then you can spend a fantastic holiday here.

Had to go to another apartment the first night, which was not as nice as Karin's and the bed was very saggy in the "replacement apartment". Didn't get any compensation for this, also the effort with the relocation with baby was a bit cumbersome. Karin's apartment was great.

If you have a place with the best value for money in Lugano, it's this apartment. Excellent location, ground floor with a little garden where you can dry clothes. Antonio is a great host, very attentive and concerned. The house was clean and tidy. We were even welcomed by a couple of Brazilians. It's been an excellent 3 weeks.

Amazing and super relaxing place, the check-in was seamless and super easy, Im very happy with my stay.

We had a small car breakdown and therefore could not check in at the agreed date, but thanks to the clear description and super nice contacts we found our super nice cottage. The next day, the Björn came by and explained the beautiful property to us and showed us what we can use! The entire property leaves nothing to be desired, everywhere there are seating , many barbecue facilities, fireplaces, badminton, ping pong and basketball courts and much more .. you can see how much love is put in everywhere! Jon is a great host and was very quick to respond to any questions and was always helpful. The communication was very good. The Rustico is decorated with a lot of love for detail and style. The kitchen had everything you needed and the grill was fantastic. The only thing that was missing conditionally was screens at the doors so you could leave them open. But it was also possible without it. The bed was comfortable. The Rustico is ideally located and a good starting point for nice excursions. The nearby river and walking path along the river were equally loved by the child and dog. Thanks for the stay ❤️

Pietro was an amazing host with an absolutely stunning home. We enjoyed every minute we spent there and just hope next time it can be for a longer trip.

We, a family of five, had an amazing time at Goffredo’s place. His place is perfect, well-maintained, offers everything for a family and Goffredo even shared vegetables from his one garden with us. Perfect location, perfect host, highly recommended.

Only 1/2 hour away from the hustle and bustle of Locarno, one of this enchanting place, in this almost uninhabited rustic village, gives the feeling of being in the longest past. Casa Mille Sassi is decorated with a lot of talent and a sense of design, so we always feel very comfortable. For me, the highlight is the freestanding bathtub with a view of the hills and preparing food in the great kitchen, while a lively fire burns in the fireplace. Simply beautiful here❣️

Wow! Words can’t even describe how beautiful this place was. Everything was absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean, fresh linen and towels, free use of the kitchen and utensils and the balcony was to die for. We had the whole house to ourselves, it’s so big and spacious! It had a laundry room too which was helpful. Space to park a car which is kind of needed as it is in a remote spot but that’s what makes it so peaceful! However you can walk to the nearest town and there are buses and trains nearby so it’s not 100% necessary to have a car. Esther was an amazing host and responded so quickly to any of our questions. And for the price, I couldn’t believe it! If you have the pleasure of staying here you will love it!

Nice house in the quite village of Aranno. Free parking is a 2 min walk away. We enjoyed chilling in the spacious garden in the evening. The two Queen beds are a bit small but can still accommodate 4 people without much difficulty.
