Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Timperley

Our stay was very comfortable; the house was roomy, spotlessly clean and well presented. The location was fabulous and only a stones throw from some of the popular walks in the area. We would stay there again. Car parking is on the street and the village was very busy when we stayed, so we had to leave the cars a hundred meters, or so, from the house. However, it felt safe enough to leave the cars out of sight.

Really lovely home, very short stroll to the village centre which has some great restaurants and shops. Our 16 month old really appreciated playing with the wide variety of children’s books and toys and on the children’s slide & swing in the garden. Would stay again!

Lovely place to stay was just unsure on the central heating but we switched it to auto and it came on at 6am didn’t really no how to use it shop nearby for all ur essential bits will definitely stay again thanks Carrie x

Ideal cottage for walking from the door, and exploring the area. Very comfy bed, warm and welcoming. Perfect stay with a dog.

We loved staying in the beautiful, cozy barn conversion with extensive gardens. Opposite the main house but private enough. We felt free to come and go. We have lots of friends in the area so were out every day catching up. We were made to feel very comforytable and treat the space as our own. Jane met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour. She was friendly and helpful and on hand if we needed anything. The mezzanine level where our 9 year old slept was less of an issue than anticipated as the bedroom was right at the back. The large bathroom with big bath and stand alone shower is downstairs and en-suite to the master bedroom. We would definitely be happy to book to stay here again

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Joanne’s place, we were visiting family and the home was perfectly placed to see them. We loved the attention to detail and homely touches. We didn’t get to use the log burner but that was particularly appreciated by everyone in our party, the beds were very comfortable and we slept very well for our short stay. I hope we will be back again in the future, thanks Joanne for hosting us.

We stayed for Manchester marathon. Great location, easy to find, off street parking, clean and comfy. Great communication and recommendations on logistics. Would recommend and stay again.

Great accomodation and attention to detail. House had all amenities, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hosts were very friendly and supportive regarding our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to other guests and would consider a return in the future if visiting this area again.

Perfect for our weekend. The accommodation was perfect, in fact we were taken back with how there cupboards were full off useful things…. Condiments, sauces, toiletries and that’s just a few I can mention. Appreciated the milk, bread, butter, nice gesture and makes a difference to some places who don’t offer that. Host also helped us out when our car broke down whilst we were there and went above and beyond to help sort it out for us. Overall the place was lovely, more than I actually expected, clean, tidy and perfect. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting Wigan. Thank you

A lovely stay in a great place with a kind host! The walk up the hill in the evening to watch the sunset was fab. And there were little lambs. Very quiet location and property exactly as described, nicer than the pictures. Thanks for the stay!

We had a lovely long weekend based in Longnor. A comfortable, warm and surprisingly spacious apartment. Great location. We walked the spectacular 'dragons back' route from our front door. Longnor is a central, pretty, and very peaceful village. Sad to see the village pubs and cafe all shut down. The nearest pub was the Packhorse Inn, a 20 min walk which was nice. A fantastic place, great host - highly recommend for a quiet break exploring the Peaks.
