Angelic views of volcanoes, the lake, the birth place of the Little Prince. Chris is a great host. And incredible human. What he has created on earth is impeccable.

the photos are not up to date so when one arrives at the location is not the same the number they put in does not communicate them directly with the hosts, they are remodeling their beauty salon so there were never people at the front desk or available for one so they have to be called constantly to be taken care of, the parking lot is around and they must walk to leave the car

My stay here in San Marcos was delightful. The moment I stepped into the luscious garden, my mind cleared. Terrys place a great place to hangout in a private and quiet area of the town. The Nature reserve near by is only a 3-4 minute walk. Well worth checking out. The rooms were clean. The staff and owner were very helpful. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful grounds complete with lush gardens and parrots. Lovely little back porch area with a view of the mountains. The staff was very gracious and attentive. Perfect location for visiting the market. The food and drinks were expensive but good. We recommend the screwdrivers if you're feeling like spending a few bucks on drinks in the lobby.

My family and I had a blast !! Birthday weekend vacation.. Awesome views and peaceful surroundings.. Kayaking was fun along with the great food attentive staff.. The cabin was to perfect 🤩

Very cool Stonehouse tucked away on the side of town. Perfect hub for my time in Santiago. Would recommend to a friend.

We only stayed here for one evening and it was very nice. Staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our bags at the front, after we checked out, while we explored the town.

The place was beautiful and staff was friendly and attentive. A light breakfast was provided at the time of our choosing daily. A great location close to main street with shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

We truly LOVED our stay at Sofia's place. I looked at so many airbnb's around the lake and I'm very glad we chose Sofias. The property is beautiful, amazing views, artwork, place to practice yoga, yoga mats, cozy places to sit by pool and hot tub and our own private deck also. It was nice to have the public dock a quick walk from the villas to catch a public boat to the other villages but be able to come back to a beautiful quiet place to relax. We also had in room massages that Sofia and her staff, Dina, coordinated. The room had a coffee maker and fridge; hot showers and jacuzzi tub. Sofia is so kind and responsive and even offered us to share in her Easter brunch on our last day. Jaibalito is a small village but we loved not being in one of the busier towns. The Bistro Indigo is right next door, excellent food and views, we ate there often! Def stay here!

A beautiful place and well located to know the area. The rooms are very comfortable just like the other areas of the cabin. The common areas are very well maintained and has all the facilities. It is in front of a pier where you can take boats all over the lake without the congestion of Panajachel. It is a very quiet place to rest but it is close to Panajachel in case you want a little more activity.

Room # 8 is magical. Gorgeous lake views, large windows, modern, with chairs on the balcony if you want to enjoy outside. In the morning you are greeted by many little birds, and at night you hear their singing and the waves of the lake. I like the train whistle. The gardens are beautiful, all the hotel staff collaborate and make you feel right at home. The breakfast is exquisite and varied. They kept my bags upon arrival and on the day of departure they served me breakfast an hour before, so I could attend the Easter rituals that started early. Also the Mrs. Administradora helped me with the company of lanchas in the local language, to be picked up at the pier of the hotel. If you like to walk you can reach the center of the village in 10 minutes or take a very cheap Q10 tuktuk. It is also very safe to walk to the hotel. This hotel is wonderful, I would go back a thousand and a thousand times more.

I loved the way we were treated, it is 20-30 min walking from the center however there is also taxi motorcycle transport, we arrived by car however Panajachel is not a place where you can walk in a vehicle with freedom, a lot of money would be spent on parking lots since they cannot be left on the street (they are very narrow and the officers make tickets) to go to other villages you travel by boat so personally I do not recommend renting a car, the hotel has everything you need and is very clean and modern and fabulous! Recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay in San Marcos thanks to this pretty hotel right at the entrance of the village gates. This is one of the few affordable options in San Marcos and it's definitely worth the price. The apartment is very spacious, clean and recently built. So everything worked perfectly. However, as in almost all locations, there was a lot of noise from the main street coming from the passing TucTucs. Bring earplugs!;)

We had a great stay with Walter, everything was as shown in the pictures. There was a water shortage going on from 6-4, but there was extra water if needed. A very steep uphill walk but worth it for the amazing view.

Simply an awesome stay, breathtaking views, warm, kind and inviting host and his family. In a safe area. I had a lovely time in the AirBnB,and the language school they run close by was perfect.

Everything very good, the place comfortable and beautiful, also the reception lady helped me a lot in what I needed
