the photos are not up to date so when one arrives at the location is not the same the number they put in does not communicate them directly with the hosts, they are remodeling their beauty salon so there were never people at the front desk or available for one so they have to be called constantly to be taken care of, the parking lot is around and they must walk to leave the car

My stay here in San Marcos was delightful. The moment I stepped into the luscious garden, my mind cleared. Terrys place a great place to hangout in a private and quiet area of the town. The Nature reserve near by is only a 3-4 minute walk. Well worth checking out. The rooms were clean. The staff and owner were very helpful. Overall a great experience.

We only stayed here for one evening and it was very nice. Staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our bags at the front, after we checked out, while we explored the town.

Everything is quite nice A different place to have a good time with your partner, food and environment 10 of 10 🙌🏻 only the customer service leaves a little to be desired, one arrives and is it like doing? Go to order at the bar or how? Because nobody gave us like directions, but then everything else spectacular 🤩

We really enjoyed our 6 nights here. This has to be one of the most beautiful places to stay on the lake! Everything is just as pictured with amazing volcano views. Loved relaxing by the pool and the lake is very clear for swimming off the dock. The bed is comfortable and the shower has great pressure with plentiful hot water. Very short walk to the public dock for easy travel to all the other villages. The public boats stop running around 6 so you need to plan ahead and eat dinner early or at one of the few restaurants right in Jaibalito. It was nice to have the coffee pot and mini fridge right in the room and Sofia supplies clean drinking water. Would definitely recommend asking Sofia if she’s offering any yoga classes during your stay.

Went back here again. Economical, clean, large, comfortable and in a great spot near the lake. Lots of restaurants, comidors, and the fried chicken cart(yummy)

A beautiful place and well located to know the area. The rooms are very comfortable just like the other areas of the cabin. The common areas are very well maintained and has all the facilities. It is in front of a pier where you can take boats all over the lake without the congestion of Panajachel. It is a very quiet place to rest but it is close to Panajachel in case you want a little more activity.

Absolutely loved this accommodation. The views are STUNNING. Beautiful glass windows for an amazing view right from your bed. Includes a delicious homecoked meal with fresh coffee. Lauriano was so kind, he helped me arrange a private driver back to Guatemala city when I had to leave due to a family emergency. He even arranged an escort to walk me to the driver. The location is right on the water wity a private dock but walkable 5 minutes to the main strip. The value is amazing, I will definitely be back. Thank you so much 💙🇬🇹

Amazing place! The host and grounds people made us feel right at home. The views were unbeatable. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

The accommodation and the room were very nice, with cozy decoration and all the details well cared for. Although the place is not so central to the main attractions, you can walk without major problem as it is not far away. The only thing that could improve is the hot water in the shower as it tends to come and go which can be uncomfortable for those who enjoy a bathroom with constant hot water. Other than that, the experience was nice and recommendable.

Very good small accommodation in San Marcos with incomparable value for money, one of the best beds we slept in Guatemala, the room is very clean and comfortable. However, if you book here, keep in mind that the village is in the mountains and you have to climb to reach the accommodation or take one of the many local tuk tuk from the port. You'll live in a local family with a big heart and share the common areas with them. If you are looking for a quiet and solitude accommodation it is not for you but if you want to get to know the local life and chat Spanish with a great view from the terrace, Walter and Gladys' house is ideal. Edwin was a great host, my room was clean and had balcony with view of the lake and mountains. Same time it’s in a center of village. Walkable everywhere or easy to catch tuk tuk. I would definitely recommend his place

Martha and Chai couldn't have made me feel more welcome and were kind and helpful throughout my stay. I was able to use their kitchen to make coffee and breakfast. The room was clean and nicely painted. It's near the lancha pier and close to nice cafes and restaurants. The only slight drawback was the construction work - they are building what is going to be a beautiful terrace, but obviously that made things a bit noisy. But this will be over in the next couple of weeks, and the terrace will be amazing.

Simple but everything you need! Beautifully located. The host was super helpful and friendly. Only the breakfast was a little too little for us. So in terms of price and taste top (20 s), but the portions were quite small. But that's also the only point of criticism.
