we loved our stay! perfect for what we needed. close to the canal for a stroll about to streach our legs after a long drive. we had the best nights sleep. will defo be back again!

My best friend and I had the most perfect stay at Felicity's little house. The large gardens surrounding the property were beautiful and this was echoed within the home itself with fresh flowers and thoughtful touches throughout. To the rear is a private outdoor area home to some very friendly chickens which we loved watching as they wandered round. I could not recommend this home highly enough and we both would love to come back soon.

We loved our stay. Carol was really friendly and helpful and had provided us with provisions for our arrival. The property totally matched its description.

Had a lovely stay, hosts were helpful and responsive when I needed anything! Clean bathroom, clean bed, cosy space and the projector was a lovely touch!!

We had the best time staying at the vestry. Emma and Ian communicated well before and during our stay. We can be a little nervous travelling with our 5 year old son due to his food allergies however Emma ensured nothing was left that could have caused a potential reaction. The vestry is full of character and the perfect little escape that offered everything we could need. We enjoyed exploring Poynton and found lots of beautiful walks around the area. Lyme park was a favourite of our sons. We also enjoyed trips into Manchester and found the vestry the perfect spot to rest after a busy day. We would have loved to visit in autumn or winter to make use of the log fire but there is always next time 😊

The place was perfect and was located in the perfect location has we were attending a 50th Birthday with friends. The location was close to the resturan and also a lovely pub called the Hind within walking distance and served a great Sunday roast would recommend a visit.

Rachel was extremely attentive and responsive which was especially helpful late at night when we had trouble locating the property after a long drive. The added extras Rachel provides make the stay extra special - well worth the price.

Sweet, homely little house, very private with easy parking. Clean and tidy. Warm and cozy in December. It was easy to book last minute and good value for money. Will book again when visiting family.

What an incredible place! The cottages are absolutely beautiful— really cozy, and set in the most picturesque little village. We came for a chilled girls weekend and it was everything we hoped for and more. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly—we’re already planning to return!

We really loved this place where we stayed as a base to do the Manchester Marathon. It was so quiet and peaceful. The garden was beautiful and we had lots of birds visiting and feeding. We even had a fox visit one evening that watched us watching it. That made my day after completing the marathon. The hosts had thought of everything. They welcomed us when we arrived and showed us round. The kitchen and bathroom etc had everything we needed. It really is a beautiful setting here and we have no hesitation in recommending a stay here with easy access to travel in and around Manchester. If we’re mad enough to come and do the marathon again we would love to stay here again. Thank you

We had a few days visiting family in the area. The hosts were very helpful and replied very quickly to all messages. It's a lovely, well equipped little house. I would definitely book it again in the future.

Had a girly weekend here & as soon as we got there we were wowed with the beautiful scenery! It was just perfect for what we needed & the hot tub was lovely & hot at all times, perfect place would absolutely go back!

Great place in great location, our dogs had a lovely time time running around the paddock with the owners dogs and we really enjoyed the wood fired hot tub! Adrian is a top man, really great to chat to and have a bit of friendly Yorkshire banter. Will visit again for sure!

We had an idyllic stay at Jo and Mick's log cabin. Jo has really put her heart into the holiday home: it is immaculate and beautifully presented. The view of the pond and gardens to wake up to each morning makes your heart sing and the accommodation is calming and peaceful. Jo and Mick are lovely hosts. Jo very kindly gifted us home-made jam, chutney and flapjacks on our arrival, as well as milk, tea, cheese and crackers. This was really thoughtful and much appreciated. The cabin is well located for Longton nature reserve, Booths, Martin Mere, Ainsdale beach and Preston itself. Internet connection is excellent, beds are comfy, wet room/shower good and lounge cosy board games as well as TV (my two are now Scrabble devotees!). Jo really has thought of everything and her love and pride of the property shine through. Highly recommended and would happily stay again.

We enjoyed a couple of nights to visit friends in Chester and explore the local area. Adam’s place is lovely and quiet with only the birdsong and some good local pubs to enjoy. Recommend if you’re visiting the Knutsford area.

Immediately we arrived we felt relaxed and at home and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The space is beautifully arranged and so comfortable and we had everything we needed. The views across the surrounding countryside were lovely. The location is also very close to the surrounding suburbs (we enjoyed a super breakfast at Cafe Valentino in Bramhall) and shops. Thank you Abby for your lovely place. The annexe is a great place to stay, with well considered amenities and decor to match the beautiful surrounding scenery. We really enjoyed our much too short stay and would love to return...... reminds me of West Cavan 😍
