Cabin vacation rentals in Traverse City

Beautiful location and view. This house had everything we needed for a quiet week away. The location is absolutely perfect. Close to Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes and some local towns. We absolutely love this area and will be back. We had a great time relaxing, and the hot tub was a perfect touch. The hosts thought of everything. We had plenty of towels, coffee, and games! One of the best houses in Michigan!!

absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

Was a very beautiful and peaceful place in the woods. The hot tub was super clean, very cozy fireplace area, and the whole set up was just gorgeous. We had a really great experience! We also loved how they are stocked with all the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, and everything you would need. The host was very helpful and responded fast.

Awesome stay at the Thompsonville Lodge! JT was a great host. Everything was in good order! Got a detailed guide in advance from JT with great local suggestions like Rosie’s Country Cafe. That’s another 5 star recommendation! A must go for an amazing breakfast! The whole place, including the Hot Tub, was immaculate! Kids loved the bunk bed in the loft area, and the arcade game that had a a ton of different playable titles. Great place all around, and would definitely stay again!

John & Kelly are not your typical hosts, they go above and beyond! By far the most magnificent hosts in my experience with AirBnB! Their communication is excellent and the home was completely clean and pristine. They also had a very detailed binder with not only everything you need to know about the house, but everything you should know about the location as well! They poured in their time to find great recommendations and ideas so that their guests can have the best possible experience! The quality of everything inside their home is definitely worth the price of the stay. John & Kelly and their home check all the boxes in what one is looking for in a great experience!

The log cabin was fabulous. It was perfectly appointed and, even though not quite warm enough outside just yet, Bar Lake made all stress subside.

Maria’s place is an absolute gem! We stayed three nights over NYE and it was exactly what we needed! It is a gorgeous cabin with thoughtful touches … very peaceful yet close enough to anything you would need. Although, it’s very well appointed so quite easy to just stay in and get cozy by the fire. We drove to Sleeping Bear Dunes area which was not too far and found the drive to be very beautiful! The best part was the snow we woke up to New Year’s Day … just magical and our dogs loved it. 10/10 recommend!

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.

Beautiful cabin! Lots of hiking around the area that was great for our dogs. Everything is under a 10 minute drive which was awesome. We got lucky with amazing weather during our stay so we were able utilize the outdoor furniture and space! The cabin itself was super tidy and clean and loved the look of it all. The hosts left us a nice bottle of wine and delicious cookies! Overall, a great weekend getaway!

Paula was extremely responsive and helpful! Walking distance to numerous attractions in a quiet, peaceful location. The Airbnb was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Would definitely return!!

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! This is a great place to get away and disconnect from the world. Yet within a very short drive to town. We loved heating with the wood stove. The bed we used was very comfortable. The cabin is larger than the pictures depicted. I loved the fishing from the shore. Overall, a very relaxing, enjoyable location. Sharon was very friendly and responsive. She checked in with us to make sure we were settled and to see if we needed anything. Loved our stay here.

Awesome place for a weekend

Liz was extremely communicative and responded very quickly. The property was beautiful and peaceful, quiet, and a great vibe. Looks just like the photos, pool was clean, living space was clean.

Such an adorable cabin. Everything is there that you'd need and more. Cozy, warm and inviting. We were in a predicament, and Erin came to our rescue. We couldn't have been happier.

We had a great time it was very secluded beautiful scenery. perfect place for a group of people especially guys who just want to sit around hang out and have a good time. driving distances to certain areas including the dunes weren't too bad great place.

Very cozy, peaceful cabin. Had a wonderful fenced in area for our dog to run. We really enjoyed the country surroundings, watching wildlife and taking hikes in the woods. It was a great place to destress and reconnect with family. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

This cabin was amazing! We watched deer out of the kitchen window everyday. Very cozy especially with the wood burner going!
