Family-friendly vacation rentals in Trentham

Loved my stay. Perfect for purpose little idyllic spot. I’m a fan of tiny homes and this is a very similar size accomodation. The bed was really comfy and the bedding was pristine. Kitchen is a little dated but completely functional and Jennine has thought of everything her guests may need. The bathroom is beautiful and modern with decent water pressure allowing for a nice shot shower. The bath and the garden were amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use the bath as I had a lot of work to do during my stay. I did feel a little vulnerable sleeping beneath that huge Manna Gum tree but I did know that was going to be the case prior to my booking. But I could never have predicted the spectacular storm and power cut and sleeping under that tree! I must admin to being a bit worried about it. Jennine was proactive, and she messaged me where to find emergency candles. Couldn’t have asked for a more accomodating owner. Very happy I chose this peaceful place. Thank you Jennine.

Naomi is an awesome host! She was so helpful and responsive and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and seamless as possible. The house is perfect for a Fitzroy stay and so easy to get to more restaurants, cafes and fun places than you can actually visit - you need months! The house was really comfy and easy to live in. We had an awesome week!

The perfect spot to stay in Daylesford. This immaculate house has a dreamy view across the valley. Immaculately clean, this property is spacious and has every amenity a guest requires for a beautiful stay. Close enough to town that we walked in for dinner but so quiet and relaxing. We have been to Daylesford several times and would definitely stay in James’s property again.

We had a lovely stay. Check in was easy. It’s a cosy, clean and comfortable space. We loved all the wonderful art around the property. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi on the deck. It was a short walk into town and just around the corner from the Mill market. We could hear our neighbours easily but they weren’t there for the whole weekend.

The house seems recently decorated, clean, and cosy. Particularly loved the log effect gas fireplace, the lux ensuite, and the private courtyard with BBQ. Beds were comfy and full laundry was a godsend after 5 weeks on the road. Couldn't fault a thing. Thanks Traci.

We booked this stunning Daylesford house for our best friend’s 40th — and WOW, what a weekend! The vibes were immaculate, the house was beyond gorgeous, and we spent three days laughing, grazing, and sipping Prosecco like queens. Perfect for a girls’ getaway and milestone celebration!

Spent 2 nights La Boheme. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is in the middle of nature with plenty of wildlife. The highlight was definitely the regular kangaroos bouncy past the house. The location is perfect with plenty to do and plenty to see.

Beautiful place to stay! The house was spacious for 5 people with a beautiful outdoor area as well. The town is walking distance so heaps to do around the area. Geraldine is friendly and super easy to communicate with! She left us a welcome pack with some treats and snacks that were greatly appreciated!! Would definitely be back.

If I had to use one word to describe our stay it would be generous: Thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house as our base: It's gorgeous, roomy and homely. It's also well placed for getting around Melbourne. Griselda is also the most generous and responsive of hosts with lots of supplies for us when we arrived that were most were most welcome. The house is also very generous with all the space and things that make it feel like home. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has lots of different living areas internally and externally. We couldn't have been happier during our time here. It really was a home away from home for the weeks we have stayed. Thanks again and lovely to have visited:-))

We had a great stay at Daylesford Country Retreats. The accommodation was just as described and as per the photos. The beautiful scenery around the property made our stay so peaceful. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for having us!

Really enjoyed our stay – the house is beautifully styled, in a great neighborhood, and easy to find with accessible parking. It’s a cozy, welcoming space that’s clearly well looked after. Just a heads up: the 2 bedrooms in the main house don’t have AC, so if you're sensitive to temperature, it might be worth considering the season before booking - there is AC in the main living area, but it's at the other end of the house. It was unseasonably warm in Melbourne during our stay, but we got through it alright. Kali was a fantastic host – super responsive and friendly, and since she lives next door, she was always around if we needed anything. Would happily stay again!

We felt instantly at home at Alison’s house. It was styled so beautiful and everything was neat, tidy and functional. My mum, Dad, partner & daughter all stay for my birthday/Easter long weekend and we couldn’t have been happier. We visited the local wine bar, cafes, local restaurants etc. It was also wonderful to be able to bring our little dog along for the stay too. It meant a lot to me he was able to join us for my birthday. Beds were all super comfortable, and we all commented on how well we slept. It was so lovely sitting out in the garden in the mornings having a coffees together and spending quality, memorable time together. I highly recommend this house if you want to spend some relaxing quality time with those you love, or just be in a home with great energy.

Lovely old miners cottage. Great bed. Had everything required for a relaxing stay. Short walk into Daylesford. Nice extra touches.

This holiday was like an historical immersive experience/ museum. We loved it. The furnishings, the crockery, the knick knacks and the record collection were all excellent We played Trivial Pursuit , whilst listening to Rod Stewart, Rikki Lee Jones and the Beach Boys. What fun. Loved not having a telly. The sky was clear, filled with stars and magnificent Thx Jenny A really special place to stay

My partner and I spent ten days in Carolyn's apartment and really loved it. The other reviews say it all - the space is quite ingeniously set up, so that even though it's a relatively small apartment, it has distinct spaces for working, sleeping, chilling etc. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed down to an umbrella. Perhaps most touchingly, it's been decorated and set up with a real sense of personality - the best kind of AirBnB. Thank you for having us Carolyn!

A lovely place and in a perfect location, a short walk from the centre of Daylesford. We'll stay here again.

Very comfortable cottage, with peaceful surrounds and beautiful gardens to explore. Excellent communal facilities. Ticked boxes for all generations (kids, parents and grandparents!)

We had a fantastic stay at Corvah House in Castlemaine with our extended family, including young children. The house was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend. The highlight was definitely the pool—an absolute lifesaver on a hot weekend! With ample grass area outside too, the the kids loved it which meant we could relax too. Donna was an excellent host—her communication was fantastic, making everything smooth and stress-free. We’d highly recommend Corvah House to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Castlemaine.

I am happy to give 5 stars for the overall and all aspects of this apartment. :) The hosts have been really responsive and informative, and the apartment was new, spacious and clean with everything needed. The balcony is facing the motorway but I don't mind as I treated it as white noise. The neighbours are really lovely, and there are bus stops 2 minutes walk away to Monash University and Melbourne University for work and studies. Tram stations to the city centre are only 15-minute walk away. I would love to come back again. Thank you Michael and Belle.

We had an unforgettable stay at Noonanmeena, a stunning passive house set on 20 picturesque acres in Redesdale. The property is beautifully situated, backing onto the Coliban River, with easy access to Redesdale town center, just a short drive away. It's also conveniently located—only 25 minutes from Heathcote and 20 minutes from Lake Eppalock. The house itself is fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for families. Whether we were relaxing on the deck or taking a dip in the pool, watching the sunset was an absolute highlight. John was an exceptional host—welcoming, accommodating, and great to communicate with. Thank you for making our long weekend truly special—we can't wait to return!

Easy & early check-in, beautiful home & entertaining pool/spa/sauna, looked exactly like the photos and hosts were very kind and quick in response. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! Highly recommend :) Will be coming back.
