Vacation rentals in Volga

This was the perfect place for a group of six women to unwind and relax. The place had all we needed. We didn’t even leave once we arrived. Plenty of room and yet cozy enough to sit and visit.

We had a comfortable one night stay. The apartment is cozy. Snacks, coffee, tea and hot cocoa were generous.. There was also a plentiful supply of linens and basic toiletries. The gas fireplace provided plenty of heat. The location right across from the cathedral was convenient and pleasant. Though a train came by late in the evening it was only the one time so wasn’t an issue throughout the night.

The perfect way to stay along the beautiful upper Mississippi River. There is a direct view of the main channel from the cabin where we could watch river barges churning by occasionally and all the various birds. This location offers easy access to the effigy mounds monument park and Praire du Chien as well as other small river towns. It’s a taste of the river rat life with all the amenities. The lower patio at river level with the hottub was our choice hangout spot.

We loved our stay at this adorable little cabin. The view of the lake was beautiful, the open living area was great for hanging out, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. I will definitely look at staying here again in the future for another relaxing weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of space. The kitchen was very well stocked and the rooms were clean. We walked across the street to hike at the nature preserve, which was fun. It was a short drive to Peosta which has a grocery store and a few restaurants. It was a little further to Dubuque, but not bad. I'd say this is a great stay for people that want a quiet spacious home with good access to amenities in either direction.

We decided to spend the weekend in SW Wisconsin and stumbled upon this place. how lucky we were. Amazing value for such a lovely place. Upon entering the house there was a refreshing smell that my wife shared was knowing the place was recently cleaned. Instructions were clear but more than that the hosts always promptly responded to our queries, we're super helpful and proactive. The place was great in a very secluded area. we took walks at night and never encountered anyone but felt extremely safe. The facilities had everything we needed and more. highly recommend this place and plan on coming back later in the summer

The pictures doesn’t do this place justice. It is not only beautiful and private but the house had everything we needed. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway this is the place to go. I would highly recommend this place to any couple or a group of friends.

This cabin was just as described. So cute and had everything that was needed. Perfect spot right on the water to watch the barge activity during the day as well as the fire pit at night. The free fire wood was a plus! This adorable place is located very close to many attractions to sight see, hike, shop, as well as having many bars/restaurants to choose from. This weekend was best for enjoying the beautiful fall colors. Nikki was the perfect host. Great communication. Easy instructions. I needed to contact her with one question and she responded immediately. She was helpful, supportive, and kind. So happy I discovered this little gem. I hope to return one day!

As we are not real techy, we had a little trouble with the lock and the TV, but Grant came over and helped us! We enjoyed meeting both him and his fiancé!!
