Veronique and Luc's lodge is a dream! We didn't leave them all the time to explore the area as originally planned, but enjoyed the fantastic location in the polders and the tranquility! The crowning glory was then the daily jacuzzi bath in the sunset. I'm sure we'll be back!

Great little find. Visiting as a small group, we didn't want to stay in the busy city of Middlberg as we were cycling and sightseeing around the Walcheren. This place was ideal as it was placed in the picturesque peaceful countryside but had the benefit of the village of Koudekerke and its supermarket only a 1.5 walk away. Good routes for both bikes and cars meant exploring the island and surrounding area was easy. Bianca was a lovely helpful host and we had good communications before and during our stay. The Airbnb was exactly as described/shown in the photos and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well furnished with utensils and had most of the things you'd need to self-cater. It is an ideal spot for a small family looking to explore or visit the islands beaches but also wanting some peace and quiet. Will look to come again with the family.

I had an absolutely lovely stay. Jacky was extremely kind, considerate, and helpful, and the accommodation was relaxing while providing everything I needed so that I was not left wanting anything more. The cycle route into town that Jacky recommended was beautiful and in certain sections reminded me of home. I plan to come back to explore the area some more and when I do, Het Hectaaratje will be at the top of my list of possible accommodations.

We felt very comfortable with Esther in the studio. Everything was super and straightforward. I highly recommend this place for Domburg.

We stayed for 2 nights, the environment was great, quiet, and the garden was beautiful, the location was good, it took only 7 minutes to walk to the sea, the walking tour was very nice,

we've been to Harry's place many times. Everything was good and clean unchanged. Harry is a very nice and friendly host. If you don't need a lot of luxury, you are very well taken care of here in the quiet and beautiful surroundings. We'll be back.

The easiest five star review, I wish I could make it six stars! Lambertus & Lukkie were amazing hosts for my dog and I. Even before check in they reached out to provide information and recommendations. At check in, Lambertus took the time to show me around the property, provided recommendations of where to eat, and even showed me on a map of the island things to do. During the stay, they checked in as needed; however, it was never too much and I felt very independent. I already have my next stay booked!

The studio was small but nice, had everything you needed! In addition, it was very clean and practical in the smallest space with an adjustable bed. Parking right in front of the property and good bikes to rent. Ellen is a very warm host who was responsive at all times. We are happy about small guest gifts! Groede is a small and quiet place with a very good bakery, by car you can reach the beach in a few minutes.

It was a lovely cozy place to stay. Winny was always available for questions. Well located to explore Zeeland. We will be happy to come back :)

We found the peace we were looking for😊. Karin's barn is simply fantastically beautiful with the four-poster bed, the beautiful tiles and lovingly decorated. The seats in the garden are so beautifully cozy with sheepskins, the view is just wonderful, the animals are so funny to watch. Karin is very attentive and friendly, came by every now and then to see if we needed anything. We even got vegetables from her garden. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back at any time.

This charming Airbnb was everything we wanted and more. The location was not only beautiful but super convenient and in walking distance to everything. The house itself was so well thought out to ensure guests have everything they need and the beds were beyond comfortable. This one absolutely our favorite Airbnb we have stayed in and will book again if we are ever in the same area. Host Paul and Benny were very kind, helpful and truly great hosts. If you are thinking of booking- just do it! You will not regret it!

Had a wonderful stay with Dirk. Super good weather and therefore have wonderful use of the swimming pool. All in all a super time!

Such a hidden gem - we had a wonderful stay! Kees and his wife made us feel very welcome. We visited with my elderly mother and my 5yr old and the property was ideal as it is all on one level. There are lots of lovely little touches in the property to make your stay comfortable- kids toys and games, tea and coffee and fresh eggs from their chickens! It’s a beautifully decorated home with comfy beds, a very large new bathroom, nice quiet outdoor areas to sit and stunning views of the countryside. Thank you Kees!

We had a lovely Easter weekend at this beautiful quiet and relaxing house. The kids hunted eggs in the beautiful garden. Thank you very much to Étienne and Danny for their warm and discreet hosting.

A nice location to discover the island all the way. A wonderfully quiet cottage in an area where it is really dark and quiet at night. Suitable for a midweek or weekend.

Very friendly welcome by the host who guided us through the apartment and took time to explain everything in detail. The apartment is nicely designed and has a hybrid ambiance of old building and modern interior. The location of the apartment is good, by car you can reach Ghent and Bruges in less than an hour. A nature park is nearby and the sea can be reached in about 20 minutes. All in all it was a successful, beautiful holiday. If we come to the region again, we'll be happy to come back here.

Place was perfect for a quiet few days. The converted cabin was totally comfortable. The two hosts were absolutely warm and accommodating. The garden is the absolute highlight, perfect for unwinding and relaxing. You can tell that Lisbeth and Rinus are hosts with all their heart and want their guests to feel at home. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet place for a few days. Also the house itself was very well equipped (numerous utensils in the kitchen, lots of towels and blankets). We were also welcomed with a typical Dutch pastry and on King's Day there were orange cakes that Lisbeth had brought us. So you felt at home from the first second.

This is a truly lovely house for staying in Knokke. We were there with family for a few days around old & new, so not for beach holidays, but the beach is within walking distance and accessible via a path right next to the house. Of course we did take a beach walk:) The location is also good compared to shops. The house itself has all the comforts, well-equipped kitchen where really nothing is missing, good long dining table in a cozy corner. Warm, cozy living room. Upstairs the bedrooms are perfect: spacious and with good beds and plenty of closet space. Also good bathrooms. Erik is a very friendly host - we felt welcome in the house! Highly recommended. We would love to come back in the summer.

We had a couple of wonderfully peaceful days at Jans’ lovely house. Communication with Jan was a breeze, we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival we were treated to a warm fireplace and a bottle of delicious wine. The place itself is in an absolutely unique location. The house is fully equipped for an amazing stay. Jan went above and beyond by surprising us with croissants on our doorstep 🥐 which was extra lovely! I strongly recommend this place, best value for money and wonderful hospitality.

Had a wonderful weekend! Jeanne makes sure everything is to your liking and the stay is cozy and warm. The garden is huge and impressive, there are all kinds of animals around and there is plenty to see. There is clearly a lot of passion and energy in creating this accommodation. A true paradise in the region!
