This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

I had a magic few days at Lori and Mike's. I drive a VW passat and I found the drive up the mountain to be non-challenging and even very fun by the end. The hosts are cool and easy to get along with. A+ doggo. Hot tub was great. Pool was fun. I usually stay in SF when I'm in the Bay Area. This was much more lovely and relaxing, with SF close enough that going in for dinner or a show felt like it wasn't a big deal. 100% would recommend this place. I brought my cat and had my lady friend with me for a night. Everyone loved it.

Our stay in Rosa's ADU could not have worked out better. Our kids live right up the block and it is a great location for so many things. We loved exploring Golden Gate Park and there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Rosa was an excellent communicator and was attentive to our needs. She changed out our towels during the trip and restocked kleenex. Rosa and her husband are San Fran natives and supplied very interesting San Fran history and guide books in the unit as well. We will definitely be back!

This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

Barbara and her Backyard Beach House were wonderful. Best stocked Air B & B we've ever stayed at. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Especially convenient for us because we were visiting family a mile away. We'll definitely stay again. Thanks!

Polina's guest house was excellent for a weekend full of events. We were very busy, but when we did get a chance to use the hot tub it was so therapeutic to relax under the trees. The guest house had everything we needed for a few nights, and was in such a peaceful area. The bathroom was very large and perfect for two getting ready for events, the little house was perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed. Polina was extremely accommodating and responsive to any of our requests. I would highly recommend staying in this peaceful little home!

The host and cottage shared one major thing in common: they were both great. Their property reminded me of a barn, and sleeping in the loft really makes the place great. One thing to note is the low ceiling of the loft area. The height will make things difficult for someone with a weak back. This does not ruin the experience, rather it enhances it. Five stars, given the chance I would stay again.

Cozy apartment with immaculate and comfortable living space--perfect for a couple. Bonus is the beautifully landscaped enclosed backyard space with a courtyard in front of the apartment. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped and fully functional. Short walk to local restaurants and shopping. Mary Lee was a friendly, flexible and responsive host, who even before we booked went out of her way to clock the distance between the apartment and our son's home which was much appreciated. Great place, great host, great experience--highly recommend!.

Cute Airbnb in a pretty neighborhood, not too far from freeways if you're going for work. Street parking is easy. Lots of privacy. Unit is located above the garage so no need to worry about hearing the folks who live there or them hearing you. Loved the deck overlooking the garden. Enjoyed that every day after long days of meetings. Marilynn responded so quickly and was really helpful. The trees and flowers in the neighborhood were beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was so beautiful, the pictures didn’t do it justice. Perfect location close enough to restaurants, and lil shops!! Just away enough out of the city, but not to far out. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice cozy easy place to get to. Also my wife’s 50th birthday and I asked him to do something special for her birthday and he put out a birthday banner and a bottle of champagne!!

I just returned from a short stay in Fairfax and Barry's place was very sweet and cozy. As a long-term resident of Fairfax, it was a great setup overall, with walking distance to town, a warm welcome, everything pristinely clean. I didn't spend time there besides sleeping, so I had everything I needed. There is a beautiful outdoor patio that is great for sunny weather. Guests should know that they need to climb up and down a ladder to the sleeping nook, which is cozy but small. It worked for me fine, but important to note. I would definitely stay again.

We felt right at home in this cozy Air bnb. The garden areas surrounding the property are beautiful. We had everything we needed and more in the kitchen where we made breakfast every morning. Lots of cookware and cabinet full of spices. Super clean. Bed was comfortable. Walking distance to downtown San Carlos was about 23 minutes. The host checked in regularly with us online and we appreciated the attention. Was sad to leave when our time was up. We hope to return as we have family in the area.

Caroline is kind, helpful and responsive. She made great recommendations. Her property is beautiful, clean and peaceful. It was perfect for what I needed, and we will be returning in the near future. She also went above and beyond after I accidentally left one of my belongings.

This is our fourth stay at Creole Place. Both Susan and her husband Gerald are very accommodating, kind, and responsive in every way without ever interfering in any way. The quiet location is easily accessed plus it is a quick walk to Safeway, CVS, and shops and restaurants at Red Hill Shopping Center. Our grandson has stayed with us and loves visiting. There is a beautiful very large screen TV with multiple kid friendly programs. A park with a ball diamond and playground, and a nice hill for exploration are both close by. Nice restaurants close by, but I really also enjoy cooking in the lovely kitchen. We celebrated Christmas** here with our family, and have made reservations to return to Creole Cottage in late April. **We were not able to find Christmas wrapping paper (last minute gifts) and the stores were SOLD OUT. I ran into Susan and mentioned going back to get bags when I really wanted/needed paper. She was there in 5 minutes with her wrapping paper.♥️

We came here for quiet. We found it. The space is beautifully appointed with everything you need - laundry, warm shower, packed kitchen and even a first aid kit. The highlights include a lovely pool, quaint yard, deer visits in the early morning hours and brilliant light in the living room. The couch was perfect for afternoon naps, and the bed was so comfortable. The location was great for access to restaurants, grocery and freeways to help us easily move around the East Bay. We will be back!

Helen's place is roomy with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The dishwasher and washer/dryer provided added convenience. The location is just off busy Woodside Road with a Safeway market about 5 minutes away on foot.

First let me start by saying the pictures posted are exactly as the place! It’s street parking but felt safe as a residential neighborhood with plenty of parking. Kananu was very respectful & responsive within minutes if not seconds! Kananu’s place has everything you need to feel right at home. The host gave nice recommendations for what’s in the area for dining, fun activities for all ages & shopping. We had a small issue with the water heater making nose and she was able to get the issue resolved quickly without interfering with our stay. I would definitely recommend Kananu’s place to anyone traveling to the area and definitely will be back for another stay! Her place definitely makes you feel like you’re in your own home.

This lovely, cozy apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to downtown. We love staying here when we visit Petaluma. Carole is an excellent host.

Amazing stay at this cozy cabin by the sea. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the sound of waves. The place is incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed — from kitchen supplies to dog blankets and groceries. Thank you!

The place was delightful - v relaxing and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking and biking. Everything was easy and just as described. Suzanne was v nice and helpful. Oh, and excellent coffee, an unexpected touch! Highly recommend.

A great stay. Matthew, Tim & Co. were very responsive, and check-in and out was easy with the August app. A very comfortable place, spotlessly clean, and conveniently located for our needs. Would absolutely stay here again!

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely perfect—modern, stylish, and super comfortable. It was immaculately clean, which made the whole experience even better. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from high-end appliances to all the little touches that made cooking a breeze. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet it was still so easy to get downtown. You really get the best of both worlds. What truly made this stay exceptional, though, were the hosts Jay & Chris! They were incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to make my trip extra special. Not only did they provide a thoughtful bottle of wine, but they also took the time to share recommendations for local wineries and restaurants, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and kindness really made me feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Honestly, this was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at! Thank you Jay & Chris!
