Monthly Rentals in Ward

What a treat it was to stay at Mindy's place! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lovely carriage house! It suited our needs perfectly for a weekend of skiing...was private, absolutely beautiful out every window (including the skylights), cozy with a fireplace and comfortable bed and couch, very clean and tidy with thoughtful touches and decor, and Mindy is an absolute delight. We really enjoyed talking with her and hearing about and seeing videos of Robert, Roberta and calf (frequent moose visitors). She gave us recommendations for dining and her suggestion was spot-on for what we were looking for (something delicious to appease both herbivores and carnivores; Busey Brews is awesome!). We will most definitely be back...probably to leaf peep in autumn because the property is filled with aspen...and hopefully to see Robert and crew for ourselves... :)

Spacious modern home. Breathtaking mountain scenery. Very private location. Robin was a great host, always available when we needed him but never in the way.

Perfect location if you’re looking for a peaceful, remote getaway! Awesome sunset views. Nice to have firewood for purchase as an option, but I a blast foraging for wood along the property for a cozy fire at night. Also loved a quiet stroll on the Ceran St.Vrain trail nearby! A 6 gallon jug of fresh water was provided, and was pleasantly surprised by an outdoor shower that isn’t pictured (Remember your own towel). Very clean, comfy bed, and the grill works just fine, but remember to bring your own pan and grilling utensils if you plan to use!
