Monthly Rentals in Whaw

The cottage was immaculate. Perfect place to relax with some nice walks. Wonderful friendly pub within a few feet of the cottage. You do need to take your own logs and coal etc, if you intend to use the log burner. Parking is for one small car. We had a larger car and had to use the local car park at £18 per week. It is very near to the cottage.

We stayed at The Bakehouse for a couple of nights as a little birthday celebration for our daughter. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is immaculately well kept and has obviously been renovated with love and attention to detail. It has everything you could need, there was even a special little bag of items for the dog. The cottage is just as described and if anything the rooms were larger than we anticipated. Beds were comfy, everything worked, the bath / shower was always hot and although we had no need of the log burner it was comforting to know it was ready to go. Loads of beautiful local walks and scenery, farm shops abound, and eye tests at Barnard Castle are easily accessible. I would definitely recommend The Bakehouse to friends and we hope to visit again. We had a lovely few days in this cottage it is beautifully restored and very cosy. The surrounding area is just beautiful and walks right on the doorstep.

We enjoyed our stay here, great walks right on the doorstep, and a pub 5 minutes walk away. The accommodation was pristine and as described, Lesley checked us in and made sure we were happy with everything before leaving us to it. We loved looking out of the upstairs window watching the wildlife in the surrounding fields. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
