A beautiful contemporary, totally self-contained small studio apartment in Dunquin (Dun Chaoin) overlooking the Atlantic and Blasket Islands. The perfect base for hiking, cycling, visiting the Blasket, viewing stars at night, listening to the sound of the sea, with peaceful beaches and beautiful walks nearby. We are on the wild Atlantic Way, at the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, the halfway point of the Slea Head Drive. We are a 20min drive west of Dingle town. A car is essential!
“We couldn’t more highly recommend this Airbnb. The location, cleanliness, value, and hospitality of the host are all A+. The only down side about staying here is that all other places won’t seem as nice in comparison! If you’re looking to experience Ireland in all its splendor, this is the place to stay. Theresa really pays attention to the details of her Airbnb—and it makes staying there a joy. Do yourself a favor and book yourself this location, you won’t regret it! Tig Bhric is a rural country pub still within the same family since it was built in the 1890's. It is home to West Kerry Brewery which was established in 2008 in the grounds making it the original micro brewery in County Kerry. Brewers Lodge is a self contained unit attached to the pub and leading out to the mature gardens which guests are free to enjoy. With a south westerly aspect there is plenty of light through out the day.
“This is the best home for our two week trip to Ireland! In it you can feel this country, its history. The house has absolutely everything you need, and the living area with fireplace just fell in love with itself. I didn’t even want to leave this house anywhere, because it was cozy and comfortable in it. I really liked the antique furniture and details. Thanks for such an experience!”
This newly furnished guest suite is attached to our own home, about 1 km from Ballyferriter village yet only 15 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Dingle. The village contains 3 pubs, & a hotel (food served daily and regular sessions of traditional music), a well stocked shop and a museum. The property overlooks Ceann Sibéal, the cliff top location upon which the 2017 movie 'The Last Jedi' (Star Wars) was filmed. More interestingly, at it's base, the ruins of Pierce Ferriter's Castle.
“The space was absolutely perfect!! Came equipped with everything for the perfect morning tea + bread with jam and was always a great start to our mornings! The location was absolutely amazing! Away from the busy Dingle town a bit, closer to the beautiful scenery and still a short drive to the town! Couldn’t have chosen a better location. Julie and Mairtin were so warm + welcoming and kind and we enjoyed chatting with them! Airbnb had all the thoughtful touches and you could tell they had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible! Can’t wait to come back some day and stay here again!”
