Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Zürich

We had a wonderful time staying with Daniel and Martin. Everything was perfect - and so we could fully enjoy our little break from the first minute of our arrival. A cozy home with a fireplace, sauna, a beautiful little garden and great views, beautiful scenery and hiking trails right outside the front door. The apartment has everything it needs to feel at home straight away. Everything is very tasteful and very lovingly decorated, everything is very clean and well maintained. A big thank you to Martin and Daniel for the uncomplicated communication, the very warm welcome and the many useful information or tips. A big thank you but also for the very tasty stone oven bread. This is pure hospitality! We are very much looking forward to our next visit with Martin and Daniel, two wonderful hosts.

Beautiful hide away, wicked concept!

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Easy to get to by public transport or a walk around the lake. Giuseppe was a great host, always responsive to our queries and also sorted out our Lucerne cards before our arrival which gave us free transport and discounts in the area. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we can return in the future.

Absolutely loved👍😍. We stayed 1 week for two with our four-legged friends in the beautiful accommodation of Petra and Roger. Already before our trip, we had such a friendly contact with Petra and Roger. Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. The place is a dream, clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of privacy and with everything your heart desires🙏❤. The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside and still see a lot. Last but not least, Petra and Roger are perfect, loving 😍hosts who were always available and supported with valuable tips. Simply 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for everyone👍🙏. We had a wonderful time🙏.. Exceeded expectations! Fantastic location with amazing views. Wonderful access to hiking and activities. So much to do within 10 minutes drive. Complete privacy. Comfortable home with washer and dryer, dishwasher, comfortable beds, balcony, and nice shower. View of the surrounding valley, including the waterfall. Amazing host - provided fantastic ideas for hiking, bakeries, and other activities. Wish we had more than five days and hope to return. Worked very well with 4 people for a larger family. The deck and outdoor space was fantastic. An amazing part of the country made even better by a wonderful place to stay.

Yolanda was so friendly. The Haus view was outstanding. We are looking forward to stay again for our next holiday.

As four men, we were allowed to spend our annual yat weekend at this ingenious place. We are all Glarner and know exactly that it is just beautiful here. It is a bit remote but reaches "civilization" in inert minutes. We will be happy to come back and felt very comfortable.

The apartment was very clean and child-friendly. The host Brigitte and her husband are very warm, straightforward and helpful! We feel very comfortable all around and would only recommend this apartment.

Wonderful stay, such a great apartment. Even better than expected. There are two very comfortable twin Murphy beds in a part of the living area which are private from the bedroom and kitchen. Very large and spacious, everything is new and clean. The kitchen has all appliances, pots and pans, and everything needed for great cooking. Martin was a fabulous host, he helped us and answered all our questions. We will be back!

Marina and Fred’s place was perfect for our short stay in Zurich, the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, it was down a quieter street and only a minute from a tram station. We were lucky enough to be able to check in early which was really helpful to us.

If you want to stay in a traditional historic Swiss farmhouse this really is the place for you. Yes, the floorboards creak and the ceilings are low, but nothing you wouldn't expect in a building of this age. It is well described and accurate. The views across the lake to the Rigi are breathtaking. It would be possible to simply sit all day and look out of the window. The accommodation has a lovely modern bathroom, is well equipped and as described. It is up a small private road which would be easy to miss if you didn't follow the clear instructions. Highly recommend a stay here. Jürg is lovely and the surroundings are simply gorgeous.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much! The apartment was clean, well equipped and lovingly furnished – exactly as described. We particularly liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere that invited you to relax. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful.

Kathrin’s place was perfect for our 3 night stay in Zurich. The walk through the forest just 100 metres down the road was just magical this time of year. And the bus stop a 5min walk away to get into town was very convenient. Kathrin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, provide recommendations and ensure our 16 month old was kept entertained during the stay. The airbnb was equipped with everything we needed.

We met the host at check-in, also good communication and nice contact in advance. The apartment is clean and tastefully furnished. We were allowed to use everything (spices, oil, coffee, tea, etc.) which is great if you are in the accommodation for a few days. We had a pleasant stay and can only recommend the accommodation. Tülin’s home was the highlight of our stay. When we saw the pictures, we knew we wanted to stay there, and it did not disappoint. Everyone in our group loved all the amenities from the sauna and ping pong table to the amazing fireplace. The guest book wall in the elevator was so clever. Tülin and her husband were so gracious to pick us up from the train station. They did an amazing job converting this once textile factory into a unique and well thought out home. They really did think of everything and provided extra amenities throughout for their guests, including additional toiletries and a first aid kit. Her recommendations for places to eat nearby were spot on. We would love to return someday!

We immediately felt comfortable in the villa, after the wow effect when entering. The contact with the host was also sympathetic and accommodating. Despite bad weather, you could use the pool and hot tub. The gym is superbly equipped - we were busy ^^ also a big shout out to the cleaners, everything was sparkling clean and the bedrooms were very nicely prepared.

This home was absolutely stunning! The views from the large windows were magnificent, offering breathtaking scenery throughout the day. The spacious rooms and multiple eating areas were perfect for our group, providing plenty of space to relax and dine together. The recent remodeling added a fresh, modern touch, making the home feel both comfortable and luxurious. We loved the friendly cows that greeted us each morning-it was such a charming and unique experience. The drive to the house was a bit of an adventure, but totally worth it for the peaceful, secluded setting. While the Wifi was spotty at times, it actually gave us the chance to unplug and spend more quality time with family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway!

We had a wonderful week in Jan and Tine's house. The location is fantastic with views towards the village and forests. There was snow and the sun was shining. Fairytale beautiful! It's within walking distance of shops, the train station and downtown. The house is more spacious in real life than in the photos. The house has all the comforts. We were 6 adults and had enough space not to sit on each other's lip. Questions were answered quickly and kindly by Jan and Tine.

The house is excellently located and has been gently and very tastefully renovated. The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. How to come back for sure!

Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.

What a wonderful house and stay! It looked just like out of a dream - amazing surroundings with green hills full of flowers in the lovely Aargau countryside. The house is huge, peaceful, quiet, modern and spotless. Peki is also so friendly and helpful! Absolutely loved it and will be back for a longer stay!
