Beautiful lodge. Spotless, comfortable bed, lovely fresh linens. Fantastically equipped. Beautiful views. Just perfect.

Amazing location, very helpful and friendly hosts. Private back garden, ideal for dogs. Dufftown is a beautiful town, also very dog friendly. Our GSP, Clementine, was invited into the Glenfiddich Distillery Shop for treats. We left with a few, ourselves. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay- it was so relaxing being immersed in nature, and the chalet had everything we needed. Our toddler loved meeting the goats and chickens and exploring the woodland! Lovely, friendly hosts who made us feel at home. Can’t wait to stay again :)

Absolutely amazing. Very clean and exactly as shown on pictures. I was a bit worried about being cold overnight but the heating was working very well and kept us warm at all times. Netflix wasn’t working- I guess it’s to with the rural area so it affects the internet connection. We weren’t aware of extra electricity charges until the arrival but that didn’t affect our stay what so ever. Everything was spot on. Thank you!

We are a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The chalet is comfortable, well-equipped and there are great walking and wildlife watching opportunities on the doorstep.

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

We had an amazing time, the cabins are so well situated and so cosy. Such good value for money, we will definitely be back!

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

We came for a few nights away for my partners birthday, Katherine was a great host throughout our stay & the birthday card and beers were a perfect little touch, we will definitely be visiting again in the future :)

The Sweet Donside Cabins were absolutely fantastic. They are charming and extremely well appointed: everything feels thought out in advance and of high quality and design. The hosts are extremely responsive, accommodating, and kind. The surrounding area beautiful and full of adventure for those looking for a few nights away. We will definitely be back!

The pod was absolutely amazing, Lewis was very responsive and flexible when our travel plans changed. Would throughly recommend as a place to stay.

We've spent a lovely weekend at Gemma's place. Very nice and quiet place with big enclosed garden sits in a beautiful countryside location. Gemma was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We're going to recommend this lovely place to our friends. Thank you very much for having us.

The Coothie Coo Shed was a perfect, peaceful and beautifully located cottage. Everything was immaculate and practical. There were some lovely considered touches which made us feel so comfortable. Homely, cosy and just the perfect solitude for us for three nights. Thank you Winfried for renovating and creating such a lovely space amidst the best hills in Scotland!

The Shepards hut stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The host was great and made sure the hot tub was ready for our arrival and topped us up with logs whenever needed. Everything was spotless and our host offered suggestions for nearby visits and made sure we had everything we needed. Games room area was fantastic! We will be back

Wonderful stay at a cosy little cabin. We loved evenings by the campfire, and Tomintoul is a lovely little village. Isaac was also very helpful and responsive when we asked about firewood. Highly recommend! 🙂

The Wee Red Roost was fantastic and all that we had expected. Jen was a perfect hostess and the setting was gorgeous. Watching the wildlife was soothing and peaceful. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We hope to go back again for a visit.

Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

Alastair’s place was so cute! We loved the pod, the location, the view, and all the amenities included. Thank you for the little breakfast, it was greatly appreciated! We arrived quite late but it was an easy check in, easy to find, and was very homey! Thank you for having us!

From start to finish we had an incredible stay! Claire gave us clear instructions on how to get to the shepherds hut so it was easy enough to find. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly by Claire and Kev, who made us feel right at home! The hut itself is wonderful, it’s cosy and well insulated, the views and scenery are beautiful and the fire pit and BBQ were perfect for the evenings. Everything was pristine! Also shoutout to Mr Doon the co-host he was the cherry on top of a lovely stay! If we are heading that way again we will definitely stay again:)

What an amazing place. Tranquility at its finest Pree and Ben were brilliant. They give you privacy but will also be there to help with anything. Absolutely gorgeous place! Cant be more thankful for the weekend we just had. Gave us everything we needed. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay. The animals are beautiful and wonderful. Our host was always responsive. POD is surprisingly more spacious than I expected. We visited 3 near by castles. We loved the drive from Edinburgh. Water was nice and hot. Very nice. Would stay again!

we had a really peaceful and cosy stay - a perfect off-grid getaway! highlights were definitely the outdoor bath tub by the pond and the cabin interior. there's also a great compost toilet, and plenty of wood ready to use. James is friendly and accommodating as a host :)

We will forever refer to this as our "Dream Pod" where we enjoyed the stunning views and magical evening. Definitely recommended!

lovely small retreat, very quiet with outstanding views. loved the quirky high-rise bed. the dogs loved the freedom of the enclosed garden.
