A fantastic place to stay with an amazing hot tub and views of the river and the horses over in the fields. Quiet and so comfortable it was like a home from home. It was exactly as described and in the pictures. We are definitely going to be going back again. Fantastic and we'd give it 100% Diane responded immediately to emails, a wonderful host.

Wild Thistle Lodge absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The location is out of this world — the views are simply breathtaking, like something from a postcard. Every corner of the lodge was immaculate, cozy, and clearly designed with so much love and attention to detail. Jane, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She had a full folder waiting for us with recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and even directions to everything — it made exploring the area so easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find a place where you feel completely at home the minute you walk in, but Wild Thistle Lodge was exactly that. The peaceful surroundings, the stunning views, the thoughtful touches throughout the lodge — it all came together to create one of the best stays we have ever had. This place is very peaceful and private. Hosts were very open and explicit about directions and how things worked. It was clean and quiet. Easy to find and had a designated parking space.

Ali is an excellent host - a truly wonderful lady with a really warm personality - she made us feel so welcome and looked after. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed, but what we loved most was the quirkiness and noticing something new every time we wandered around. It’s clear that a lot of love and creativity has gone into this magical wee place. The grounds and location are so peaceful and tranquil - dining outside around the fire pit and stargazing after some time in the hot bath and sauna was a real treat. We loved the stillness of the place - a very welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We absolutely loved our stay and have told all our friends about this wee gem. We hope to be back again sometime soon! Thank you Ali, you’re a real star! 🌟 X

Lovely little lodge. Well equipped. Clean. Right next to the loch my girls spent hours playing on the paddleboard and hopping in the hot tub. The host even let us in earlier than we should have to accommodate miserable weather. Very accomodating and friendly Would definitely recommend

Andrea was amazing, warm welcome right from the check in and gave an informative house tour. The house was beautiful even with the pictures it was just even better in person from the pond to even a view of the loch. Amazing host with amazing marshmallows and fire place, will defo be returning for the summer 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Nice accessible location in a quiet area with fresh air, the place itself is cute and cosy, and the host was friendly and responsive. Baby proof enough for a feral 1 year old. Would recommend!

Beautiful cottage in a great location and so quiet and relaxing, the only noise coming from the abundance of wild life. It is also a good base for walks or just exploring the beautiful Deeside area with so much to see and do.

This is my second visit to the Farmer’s Cottage, and once again, I was blown away by the peace and tranquility. There have been some improvements to the site since my last visit, including a few new additions such as the boat and the camping pod. John and his team are always on hand to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, and it was lovely to watch and chat with the young girls tending their horses. I will definitely return for more country walks, beautiful sunsets, and an uninterrupted night’s sleep. I would highly recommend it.

From the moment we walked in we knew this was going to be a great stay. We booked an extra night no more than 10 minutes after walking in! It was in a private field surrounded by trees, trails, and farm land. Perfect and remote and we even saw some deer and pheasant outside the cabin. It was the perfect escape from busy city life, a farm shop and a Tesco superstore nearby which is great for the self catering. we will definitely be returning we had an absolutely wonderful time at Tillyfruskie Cabin.

My friends and I stayed in the cabin for two nights and we loved it so much, an absolute gem! The cabin is very comfy and has everything we needed, also kitchenwise. It's super clean and the heatings work properly so it was warm within no time. It's situated perfectly for exploring the Highlands (Glencoe area is an hour away). There's even a lovely little bar in the main house open till 10pm where we could have a drink. James is super friendly, he responded very fast to messages and the check-in was easy. We can definitely recommend this AirBnB a lot! :)

We stayed at the lodge with our 1 year old for her 1st birthday and Caroline was very attentive she got a travel cot ready and a high chair and even left some chocolate eggs out for Harley and made me and my boyfriend a little hamper it was really thoughtful. The lodge was beautiful very nicely decorated and modern so overall was a lovely stay and Caroline was very helpful and pleasant so thank you ☺️

Modern, clean, well equipped, Nick was super helpful and gave us really useful tips on using the park and ride and tram for a fantastic day trip into Edinburgh. The Kelpies are also a short drive away and well worth a visit.

We had a great stay as a family of 4 plus a dog. Plenty of space inside and out, spacious bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen to cook for a family. We found the location good with access to amazing loch and mountain areas.

Lovely Log Cabin. Very spacious, plenty of room for the 4 of us. Great views all around. Plenty of nice walks around the area. The log Burner was great in the evenings as it got frosty outside, really warmed us all up. Good response from Bea all the way through from booking to arriving and departing. It was sad having to leave for our homewards journey.

Great little cabin which fulfilled all our needs, excellently appointed and pristinely clean. Great views front and back, the under floor heating meant we were always warm and cosy. The little extras left were very much appreciated, communication with Eilidh was always easy and responsive. We walked up to the swing bridge, then back along the canal to Laggan locks, where we had drinks and ate at The eagle floating barge which was good fun and some stunning views. Great base for trips to Skye, Fort William, Glencoe, Eilean Donan castle, Fort Augustus and Loch Ness. We will back
